For those bringing their pets, there is a dog day care nearby. Situated between the north and south coasts, and above the stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of Goss Moor. A 7.5 mile network of cycle, walking and riding trails threads its way around the moor. The North Cornwall Coast is home to fabulous beaches, resorts and villages such as Padstow. The Eden Project is 4.5 miles. Other places of interest include The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the steam railway at Bodmin. Horse riding, trout fishing, cycle hire and golf are available nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Very well equipped and clean lodge - perfectly located for our week as we needed easy access to the length and breadth of Cornwall. Frank is knowledgeable of the area and very helpful too - thank you.

Scholten Lodge had everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday, It was very well equipped and Frank and Sue were friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble, we had a slight problem with the shower and Frank sorted it promptly and efficiently.
The location is ideal for easy access to most parts of Cornwall and we had a lovely week at Scolten
Lodge.
