It also boasts a fine Norman castle which stands proudly at the top of the town and overlooks what was voted Best High Street in England 2009. Shop and pub 250 yards, restaurant 800 yards.

Very clean, light and airy. Only problem was with the quilt on our bed , it was very warm and a size larger would have been more comfortable. Very well equipped property, nicely presented. Very good local facilities and good walking from the door. Would recommend it and like to go back again.

Home from home. Great accommodation, good appliances and utensils. Very comfortable. Good local amenities, good location for day trips. Only comment to improve is putting curtains in the bedrooms as there are in the lounge. Highly recommended. A great week!
