The owners have devised a number of local walks that can be achieved from the front door. Knighton, 3 miles, offers independent shops, pubs, restaurants and the Offa’s Dyke Centre. Castles in the area include Ludlow, Powys and Clun. Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, the Royal Welsh Showground, and the market towns of Newtown and Welshpool are within easy reach. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

Wonderful spot in the middle of countryside....third time visiting garden lodge and will be back...the use of the owners garden which drops down to the river where you can watch birds is lovely so relaxing in an evening ..

Lovely host, I net Phil and he was very friendly helpful. I didn't meet Rebecca but benefitted from the lovely walks she planned and printed out. Unfortunately the local pub was unable to do food due to unforeseen circumstances which was a real shame. Knighton a short drive away was the nearest place to eat out.

A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Lovely welcoming owners who allowed us use of their beautiful garden. We spent a happy couple of hours watching the river and birds in the garden. So relaxing.
