About this cottage rental
Traditional Welsh cottage, enviable location right on the sea shore where at certain times the waves lap on the patio walls!. 3 steps to entrance.

Bedroom 1: 2 x Single (2ft 6in) Beds
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Fuel for wood burner available locally. Stairgate. Outbuilding with toilet. Garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for cars and boat trailer. No smoking. Please note: Accessed by a rough track. There is a drop in the garden.. Blue Sails (ref JPV) is a traditional Welsh holiday cottage with its own garden enjoying a magnificent setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, right on the seashore, with waves sometimes lapping against the patio walls, and glorious views of Puffin Island and Snowdonia. The Beach House (ref OHM) lies in a secluded setting, with direct access to the beach (via a few steps) and panoramic views across the Menai Straits to the Snowdonia mountains. This single-storey Scandinavian-style pine lodge is set to the right of Blue Sails. It has a large garden (not fully enclosed) and visitors may enjoy sightings of many species of seabirds, porpoises and even the occasional seal.
Beaumaris (2 miles), a World Heritage Site, is Anglesey’s most attractive town; it has a castle, boat trips to Puffin Island, water sports facilities, shops, restaurants and excellent inns.Bangor 8 miles. Beach 1 mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

There a a few steps down to the beach. The sewage system is by septic tank and is unabe to take biological products including bleach, bio washing powder etc. Please bring eco products to use.
The property is accessed by a rough farm track.
There are large gaps between banister spindles.
Cats are not allowed at the property.
There are drops in the garden.

Second time at Blue Sails
The only problem is the dog who loves the place so much she wants to sit on the beach in the middle of the night to watch the wildlife.

Blue Sails is a great place to relax. Excellent owners. Our only issue is with the Sand Fleas. These come out at about 5pm and if you don't have doors and windows shut you'll spend your time squatting them inside. These are the only reason that will put us off going back. There were 1000s of the little buggars and they jump all over the patio, grass, house. The back of the property also needs an outside light but I think that this may attract more of the little nippers! Overall a great place.

Fantastic location. Unfortunately we had to return home earlier than expected due to unforeseen circumstances. The owners were absolutely brilliant. The cottage is full of character. The large lounge, from which we saw sea lions on the 1st day, is absolutely fabulous. A very special place to which we hope to return.

What a cottage, my partner wanted a cottage with a sea view, you certainly get that with spades.
the first night we were there the sea was a little choppy with the wind, it was about 6ft away from the front wall.
But what a place to have a cottage.
I will be going back again next year, love the place.
