The check-in was stressful - couldn’t get a hold of the owner to get the code to enter. Had to go through VRBO manager for him to get a hold of him.The pictures should be updated. The whole home and yard needs some updates. The kitchen had some dirty dishes and silverware in the drawer. There were no garbage bags for the kitchen until the next day. The kitchen blinds only had one that worked and one had tin foil over it to block out the sun.The inside of the bedrooms was nice. The outside and the parking needed updates. Very difficult to get vehicles up the hill to the road.

This part of the lake is so peaceful and the view is absolutely stunning!
This property needs quite a few updates from the exterior decking to the furniture inside, but mainly- the deck is unsafe for children. There was temporary caution tape blocking a gazebo, where the deck was crumbling into the lake and a permanent keep out sign blocking the deck staurs that led into the lake. The hot tub was new, but the screen did not work so we do not know what temperatures/settings were selected.
Most importantly, the a/c could not keep up to cool off the entire house. The internet and TV connection never did work for us, which the very sweet innkeepers reached out to help, we didn't need any internet or TV because the weather was nice for is. But be warned, if you need connection for working, this property would not work.
The layout of the house worked really well for our large, extended family. We had 3 families and several kids. There are two family rooms, so the kids had their own space to hangout.
Overall, we would come back because of the layout of the home if the price was a bit lower, as some of the amenities thag are listed were inaccessible.
