About this apartment rental
This wonderful condo is a 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom residence with large windows and a comfortable living space. The views from the deck and living room are beautiful and face the ski runs. One of the two leather couches pulls out into a full-sized Bed. Sleeps up to 6 comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked and has stainless steel appliances, Mr. Coffee and k-cup style coffee makers, granite countertops, two bar stools and a kitchen table for six. The living room has a comforting gas fireplace and a wall mounted flatscreen TV and DVD player. There is a nice, large deck just off the living room to enjoy on summer afternoons or Apres Ski. *Ski access via Home Again Trail is 100% snow dependent. There is no guarantee it will be open at the time of your booking.

The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, dresser, Flatscreen TV and a mini fridge. The second bedroom has a queen bed also with dresser. Each of the two bathrooms have a bathtub/shower combo and are finished with an upscale tile enclosure.
Wifi and cable TV are provided. An in unit washer/dryer is provided. For those ling, hot summer days, the unit has central A/C are in the unit. It is the only condo complex at Whitefish Mountain resort with central air conditioning. The unit comes with one underground parking space, a ski locker on the main floor, and use of the rooftop community patio on the third floor.
We have a 60 day cancellation policy. More than 60 days notice full refund minus $100 administrative fee. Less than 60 days no refunds.
Location is in the heart of Whitefish Mountain Resort. The pines has a short, flat walk to chair lifts, shops and restaurants. Less than an hour from West Glacier, the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

The location of this condo has easy access to skiing and all that Whitefish has to offer. Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 closures, the Big Mountain resort was closed and we were unable to take advantage of the close access. As to the condo itself, I was disappointed with some of amenities as advertised in the listing. TI was far from impressed with the "gourmet kitchen" as described in the listing. The kitchen was mostly in disarray, with very few usable cooking utensils, miss matched glasses and dish ware and there were ZERO kitchen knives available forcing us to make do with a small steak knife. The cookware was old and beat up and there were no matching lids for the pots or pans. Fine if guests are eating out every meal, but we like to cook our meals and we were very unhappy with the kitchen.
Lastly, the internet was terrible, TV is outdated and the fireplace didn't work properly. The gas was off and the pilot was out, but I got a quick response from management and managed to get it working for a short time. Not a great location for access to Glacier National Park. Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding Flathead valley though. Overall, the location needs some updates. We will likely chose another property on our next visit to the Whitefish area.
