About this house rental
Watercolors is a beautiful and spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath oceanfront home with gorgeous Pacific Ocean views from all rooms and space for the whole family. It is a great place to reconnect and make memories! Whether you want to cook in the gourmet kitchen, play games or just lounge, this is the place. Maybe you prefer to be outdoors? You can hang out by the built-in firepit or play on the spacious lawn, all while listening to the waves and watching the everchanging colors of the ocean. The home sits on a 20 foot bluff with easy beach access via a pretty wooded path just a block away. The Oregon coast is perfect for beachcombing, building sandcastles, flying kites or making forts out of driftwood.
To the North you can explore the wonders of Newport. Take a tour of the Oregon Coast Aquarium or the Hatfield Marine Science Center. Explore the shops and taste the food on the Historic Bayfront or the Historic Nye Beach area.
To the south you can take in the gorgeous scenery of Cape Perpetua and the many trails. Stop by Cooks Chasm for a look at Thor’s Well. The drive to Florence is breathtaking with great places to stop and explore. Go Agate Hunting at Bob’s Creek or Strawberry Hill. Take a tour of the most photographed Lighthouse in the world at Heceta Head. Take the elevator 600 ft. down into the largest natural Sea Lions Cave. In Florence you can take a dune buggy ride or go sand sledding. Maybe you prefer to go horseback riding on the beach. Don’t forget to stop for lunch or dinner in Old Town.
Yachats itself is a small village perched on the side of the mountain with many shops and restaurants and the charm and friendliness of a small town. Home of the famous 4th of July La De Da parade and fireworks. With many different festival’s all year round, it is a great place to visit anytime.

The house is in a beautiful location! Lots of room for the whole family. The only downfall was that the hot tub stopped working a few weeks before our stay. They did give us a discount on our stay because of that, but we really missed not having a hot tub.

Beautiful location, home needs updating. The house needs painted and repairs to many areas. The kitchen could use some updated appliances like pans,scissors,casserole dishes. We had to go buy several items just to cook. The drains in the bathrooms were clogged, needs maintenance. The windows were stunning but unfortunately we had to go buy window cleaner as they were awful dirty. You could see cleaner sprayed and just dripping down them where the cleaner didn’t even wipe it. Many areas weren’t cleaned well. The washing machine is terribly moldy, black mold. It smelled up the whole garage and into house. We really loved the house and location, we just really thought you needed to know what needs taken care of to make this home worth that price.

No working lights on the patio or hot tub area. Track lights on the eat bar had no bulbs. Overall kitchen was dark. Kitchen was under equipped, not even a wisk or baking sheet. Garbage can full when we arrived . I think the house has electrical issues, saw several outlets that were burnt. House needs major outside maintenance.
