About this apartment rental
Located in the heart of Pacific Beach just three blocks from the shore and Crystal Pier in San Diego, California. HappyNest is a home away from home where memories are built to cherish a life time.
The name comes from the private rooftop patio NEST and the general HAPPY mood everyone is in when they visit the condo at the beach.
The fully remodeled 1400sqft HappyNest features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, able to sleep up to 7 adults. A beautiful combination of travertine and walnut flooring will put your allergies at ease and set the mood for a relaxing vacation. HappyNest has a full kitchen, gas barbeque, dining area, as well as a spacious living area and private rooftop patio, each with a gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, a full size fridge, gas stove/oven, microwave, pots/pans, dishes/glasses/utensils, cooking/grilling utensils, wine bar. Pantry and fridge items are free to use.
Full size washer and dryer are located on the second floor of the condo.
Wireless internet is included. Beach toys for your enjoyment are stored in the garage. Parking space located in rear of building. Sorry, no pets allowed.
When you stay at the HappyNest, you can leave your worries behind. Including your car! Endless beach activities including surfing, boogie boarding, roller blading, sailing, paddle boarding, rowing, wind surfing, kite surfing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, biking, people watching, (and if you're really adventurous...jet pack rentals in the bay!). Sprouts Grocery and countless restaurants and bars are within just a few steps of the door. This really is the PERFECT location for vacation.
Imagine spending the day on the beach listening to the sounds of the waves crashing on shore, the song of the sea gulls, or even surfing the day away. Then stopping for dinner at JRDN while watching the sunset. Walking back to the HappyNest through Garnet Avenue and grabbing a famous Baked Bear ice cream sandwich and finally reaching the NEST to enjoy the warm summer evening from the rooftop with a glass of wine or an ice cold beverage. This is normal daily life at the HappyNest! : )

What a perfect place to stay for families visiting San Diego! The location is close to the beach and lots of great restaurants as well as Trader Joe's for snacks and food. Our favorite restaurant was Caffe Bella Italia. The place itself is very clean and has 3 bedrooms, all on separate floors, which is great for those that want to stay together but also want a bit a privacy. If you have trouble with stairs this may not be for you. Having Netflix was a great plus as well.
What really blew me away though was the property management and owners. We came in quite late on the night of our arrival and had a problem getting in and the owners were super quick to respond and take care of the problem. Amazing!
The only thing I would say is the description mentioned a jogging stroller and there is an umbrella stroller for your use, so if you envision yourself jogging by the beach with your little one in the borrowed stroller, you will be disappointed. We were fine with the umbrella stroller and I think the average family would be too.
Anyway, all and all, we couldn't ask for more. Would love to go back soon! Highly recommended.
