It is an older townhome with mixed decor/furniture & quite cozy, so there is some normal wear & tear on the carpeting, upstairs blinds, etc. The inside of this unit was very neat, clean, & spacious. The deck & deck furniture could use a good cleaning. I swept the front porch, walkway and steps in the front of the unit (lots of acorns) to prevent tripping. All the appliances, electronics, & internet functioned properly. Unfortunately, the heating in this unit was not working (it was 55° inside when I arrived after leaving my family's home). I increased the temperature to 72° hoping it would warm up. It never did. I ended up purchasing new batteries for the thermostat the next morning, & that only worked for a few hours. I did let management know, & I ended up borrowing a space heater from family & slept on the comfy couch downstairs under a very warm comforter for my stay. While I enjoyed my stay, I was disappointed nothing was done about the broken heating unit - it ran nonstop and seemed like it was trying to work after I replaced the thermostat batteries (this was during Thanksgiving, so I understand no one being available). I did not get my full money's worth and feel like some monetary adjustments should be made to my bill. I also feel like the mgmt should have checked the unit to assure the heat was working (and turned on prior to my arrival-it was so cold inside). Rate: 3.75/5

We were visiting relatives that live in Hot Springs Village. This condo was in the Village and close by, which made it very convenient. The interior was nice and clean and had everything we wanted. The exterior was a bit run down, but acceptable. The balcony was quite dirty and in need of some repair. The manager came to look at the balcony, and did some cleaning, so that we could use it. Overall it was acceptable and convenient for our short stay.

The unit was very dated. The upstairs queen bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, and it was on rollers so it moved often. The coffee pot was rusted so we didn't use it. The tub didn't drain well, so after every shower you would be standing in a bathtub full of your used water. It was unpleasant after a day at the lake and my family had to take showers immediately after each other and I had to stand in everyone's used water since we had plans. The property manager was very responsive prior to ordering and the location was beautiful. I think if they fixed the issue of the tub drain and the bed in the master bedroom, the rental would be great.
