This beautiful custom home is located in one of South Lake Tahoe's most desirable neighborhoods! Just 1/2 block to spectacular Lake Tahoe and Regan Beach and 2 blocks to The Meadow of South Lake Tahoe The home is among parks, beaches, hiking trails, biking trails, kayaking, beach volleyball, a kids play area, and boating, to name a few. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Minutes to the casinos, Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, gondola, grocery stores, banks, Lake Tahoe Recreation Center, and boutiques. Enjoy a variety of dining options, from world-class restaurants to one of the many pubs or pizza establishments nearby.
Very close to the Heavenly Bus Route. If you don't want to rent a car, you can easily get around by cab, walk, or bike ride. Emerald Bay and Camp Richardson are nearby.

Property owners responded quickly with all my questions. House was clean and short walking distance to Lake with small beach and playground for littles. We will be staying here again for our next family reunion! Thank you Gail and Rich!!

This house is very well located for a group wishing to be located in the South Lake Tahoe area. In particular, it is literally steps away from a beach, and within a mile or so of a large Safeway and the Heavenly Valley ski lift/resort. Solid places to eat nearby.
The house has been redone in the upstairs bedrooms/bathrooms, which are v ery nice and feature upscale amenities (like robes, etc.) New double laundry is very nice.. Downstairs also very comfortable, though a little dated, esp. the gas fireplace (which is a manual-light, rather than auto/switch) and kitchen cabinets (which are tired and worn. The house has new kitchen appliances, which are nice. Hot tub is small for a house that sleeps 12, but is convenient to the back door. Parking is tough in this neighborhood, though this is just Tahoe and not the owner's problem - they have the required number of spaces. I would suggest some better cleaning in the kitchen between guests, some upgrading of pots/pans and cooking utensils and when the weather permits, some attention to the exterior of the house. The 'arrival experience' was not great in this house, but the owners were very helpful and we did have a great time. A little polish would make this place a real gem in Tahoe.
