Villa Rafael is a quiet and elegant suite immersed in a three-level peaceful garden of 500 square. It is the perfect base to discover all the secrets of Amalfi Coast, the coastline listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a cultural landscape.
Immersed in a sweet-smelling garden of lemon trees and roses, this elegant retreat is fully renovated . It’s located in the heart of Amalfi Coast, in the historical center of Maiori, a lovely village five kilometers from the city of Amalfi. It can accommodate two to four guests (queen-size bed and sofa-bed).
You’ll find lively contemporary furniture's from high quality suppliers, WiFi, 3D TV, home theater system, air conditioning, chromotherapy shower, a modern fully-equipped kitchen (refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, countertop, cutlery, hand made ceramic dishes and cups, pots ...) and a fresh herb garden, the final touch to elevate your Italian cuisine dishes.
The beach is one minutes walk and bus stop, local bars, pizzerias, restaurants and groceries are on the doorstep.

Great place. Outdoor spaces are great. Gian Luca met us their and gave us the tour. Showed us the coffee machine and a stock of coffee. Maiori location easy to get to port, beach, restaurants, groceries without going up and down steep hills. Very clean.

Villa Rafael was easily the best part of our vacation experience. We split our week between Naples and Maiori, but after staying here, I wish we’d spent the whole week in Maiori. The property manager, Gian Luca, has thoughtfully arranged for every modern comfort while making it feel rustic and rural. He met us with a bottle of wine, gave us a tour, and made himself available for any questions we may have. The property was immaculate, water pressure in the shower was perfect, bed comfortable. The hot tub and outdoor space are really where this property shines. Relaxing in the lemon grove, in the hammock, or in the hot tub were moments that felt so serene! There is a 100 Euro fee for using the hot tub, but this is not unreasonable considering the extra electricity and maintenance time it requires. The other incredible thing about Villa Rafael is that while everything about it and its outdoor areas feel so secluded and private, you are also just steps away from a wonderful cafe, grocery stores, restaurants, and most importantly—the beach! It is the best of both worlds here. I’m hesitant to tell you how incredible it is because that will make it more challenging for me to book again in the future, but Gian Luca and the owners have put so much love and care into this property that it ought to be known. If you want to relax properly without a care and know that everything you could want is still just a 5 minute walk away, Villa Rafael is the place for you.

The villa was the perfect home away from home. My son and I recently stayed here and it was lovely. Gian Luca was so wonderful with communication and very kind and helpful with anything we needed.
It was very private, the garden and terrace were beautiful and spacious. It is in a graat location, So easy to get to restaurants, shops the ferry and the beach and playground were mins away.
Thanks for making our first time to Italy so memorable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Giardino del Fauno. Very clean and comfortable one bedroom detached home with beautiful gardens. The unit is very private and steps away from the town center, no hills to climb or stairways (unique for the area), and steps from the beach. Off the beaten path compared to other touristy spots like Positano or Sorrento.
Quick & inexpensive access to the other villages on the Amalfi coast via Ferry if you wish. There are 4 levels of gardens. It was so nice to enjoy the outdoor/indoor spaces. Modern bath with rain shower, full kitchen with all the appliances and a washer at the side of the house. Chiara met us at the house on arrival and departure to explain everything we'd need in the home. Super!
