I love the location. It's right opposite a pharmacy and walking distance there is a wonderful laundrette who's lady boss is super friendly. It's not the best of streets as during peak time it will take you 30 min to move 3km. It's faster to run it. But with some generally affordable and well done eateries nearby, with the pharmacy etc, it turned out to be a perfect location for my family as I arrived in the evening, already dark out, with an ill 12 year old who needed some paracetamol etc.
3 glass bottles of water for 3 of us 👍🏻 like how it's minimal waste.
I have stayed in both the downstairs and upstairs family room and definitely we all prefer the ground floor family room which is right at the end of the building. Easier to get in and out and also cosier (rather than an echoey corridor).
Showers need some maintenance (easily done with some vinegar and baking soda to clear the lime scale)
Lighting is rather dark. Tiny half horsepower air con for a big high ceilinged room. Best to keep the temp at 24 and turn on the ceiling fan.

Loved everything. It was extremely clean, rooms cleaned daily, clean pool, quiet area yet still everything you need surrounding. Close walk to the beach and main streets of Canggu. The restaurant was incredible, fresh food. Room service available. The staff and team were wonderful, and I’ll definitely stay again.

The staff were very nice. Communication was easy. It's in a great location. Short walk to the beach and many cafes and shops nearby.
The bathroom smelt so bad of rotting wood and mould - the air was so thick of the smell we gagged every time we needed to use the toilet. I can't describe in words how consumingly disgusting this smell was.
I check the mattress seams of every hotel bed I'm sleeping on, whether its 1 star or 5 stars, to check for bed bugs. When I pulled the corner of the sheets up on the bed it was gross. So thick with dead skin, gunk and compressed dirt and fluff. No bugs - so that was good, but still dirty and terrible for anyone allergic to dust mites or asthma.
There's construction next-door. There was a drill all day, also there's a road right next to the room. It's not busy, but when a scooter does pass, it's like it's in the room with you.
Finally the aircon was really loud - like a jackhammer.
I hate to leave a negative review - but it was such an uncomfortable stay I felt gross the whole time. Luckily we only stayed one night.
