About this bed and breakfast
Newly-built bright, spacious, cottage in historic neighborhood, and walking distance to Portland Convention Center. Great for business travel, or vacation getaway. Close-in to shops, restaurants, and entertainment, plus bike share rental, MAX & Streetcar all just blocks away.
This cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Portland including 40" TV with Netflix, wifi, sectional couch with chaise, dining area, large bathroom with tiled shower, Washer/dryer and professional kitchen appliances. The pull out bed downstairs is queen size, outfitted with a memory foam mattress. (No bar down the middle!) Upstairs is a beautiful restful retreat with a sleigh style queen bed with new memory foam mattress, and dressing area. Features private, beautifully appointed interior, pro kitchen and bluetooth speakers to connect to your favorite music or pod casts. The adjoining fenced in garden is right outside the french doors and has patio seating, grassy yard, fruit trees and lounge chairs. Please note that access to 2nd floor is by ships-ladder. Ask for details if needed. Owner lives in main home and is gladly available for restaurant ideas, help planning day trips and more. But the guest house is very private and your time will be quiet and relaxing!

This place was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and came with a bonus outside cat who visited us every day! Portland is insanely walkable for the able-bodied and the public transit is great. This house was perfectly located for meeting all of our needs and was adorable to boot!

The cottage is immaculately clean and nicely decorated and the host is very nice. When I arrived I didn't realize how steep the staircase is and I was concerned about it. It was late and I decided I just wanted to stay on the downstairs pull-out sofa. I couldn't figure out how to open it. The owner was not available. I finally figured it out. I also could not get the light working next to the bed upstairs up the steep ladder in case I decided to stay there. And it was quite hot up there for me even though there is an air conditioner cool air was really not reaching up there and there was no fan. Anyway it all worked out in the end and Martha was certainly very caring.
