About this house rental
On the idyllic island of Mandø lies the small, old farmhouse together with a second farmhouse on a beautiful plot of about 2000m² in size. Wild roses divide the garden area, so each house has a sheltered part of the garden, while both houses share a large lawn. While the little ones let off steam on the property, the large guests can sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun.
Even after a renovation, the house has retained much of its original charm. The blue lattice windows with red and white checkered curtains create a very special atmosphere in the house. This character can also be found in the furniture of the house.
From the entrance hall, on the left, you enter the bathroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds, while going straight into the open kitchen. Behind the open kitchen is the combined living and dining area. From there you get into another bedroom, which has 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed. For taller guests, please note that the floor joists are a bit lower and, as a precaution, pull in the head.

... wenn man mal wirklich Ruhe sucht.
Bei der Unterkunft passt alles, es fehlt an nichts, top ausgestattet.

Das Ferienhaus und die Umgebung sind einfach großartig, wenn man etwas Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht und mal so richtig aus dem Alltag raus will.
Im Haus selber mangelt es an nichts. Ankommen und wohlfühlen! Wenn man sich an die Höhe der Eingangstür gewöhnt hat, kann man auch diese ohne Kopfschmerzen hinter sich bringen ;).
Der Garten und die gesamte Umgebung sind sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Das Beste ist wahrscheinlich, dass man als Ferienhausbewohner auf der Insel bleiben kann, während die Tagestouristen gezeitenbedingt auf jeden Fall wieder los müssen. In den Morgen- und Abendstunden hat man die Insel so fast für sich und kann der Entspannung freien Lauf lassen.
Ausflüge ins Watt waren unsere Hauptbeschäftigung. Da kann man ganz hervorragend die vielfältige Tier- und Pflanzenwelt erkunden, Muscheln und Schnecken sammeln und sich auch mal ganz klein und einsam fühlen (in einer positiven Art!)

Schönes Haus und gute Ausstattung. Ruhige Lage. Vorräte sollten mitgebracht werden. Kulinarische Diaspora. Gerne wieder.
