Lovely house! Close to beach and has air conditioning! :) Lots of space for our dog too! Galyn is very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in Encinitas, west of the highway and railway tracks, 10 minute walk to Stonesteps and Moonlight Beaches, in walking distance of the main drag: coffee, ice cream, lots of food options. The house is tucked away on a quiet street. The kitchen is tight for two people, but we weren’t there to cook. We would have liked to have some microwave dishes to reheat food. The outdoor grill works great. Bedrooms are good sized with comfy beds and plenty of pillows. The property has been described as “tired,” but unlike many places we’ve stayed, the living room couch and chairs are super comfortable. The outdoor space is the best part, furniture for dining and just relaxing. Finally, we loved the outdoor shower to clean the dogs after a morning at the beach.

This absolutely darling beach house filled with antiques, bohemian kitch, and Encinitas vibes was the perfect place for our family of 5 to vacation. Aged 3 1/2 to 73, we ALL had a perfectly lovely 8 nights. Yes, there are quirks such as the water pressure is nil when a toilet is flushed or the washer is running but all that was easily worked around and does NOT give this place a lower rating. The kitchen is stocked with all the tools and dishes and pans that you need to cook, bake, grill etc, The outside bathroom was greatly appreciated. The weather was sometimes rainy which was lovely but humid too so the airconditing was lovely for those days, otherwise we just had the windows open. The beach is walking distance which we did daily to the little park for our 3 year old grand child in the morning. We chose to drive to the beach though and unload all our our parafenalia onto the provided rolly cart for a stay on the beach. Huge bathtowels are provided too! Games, puzzles, ping pong, boogie boards, beach chairs EVERYTHING you need for the ideal beachside holiday. Our grandaughter entertained us all with her gymnastics on the HUGE artificial turf front lawn, We ate outdoors on the patio most meals. Delightful!!! Some people may want something very modern, slick and "fashionable" but this place fits the the bill for an authentic beach town livin' with-the-locals and loving it great time. Communication with the owner was great! FIVE STAR for sure.

Loved the location of this little house. Easy beach access and walkable to everything in Encinitas. The house itself is a bit worn - furniture and carpet could use an update, doors are creaky and two panel, back sun porch area is sloped. Outside patios are amazing and practical - easy to use!
