About this house rental
There are two cute, fun, remodeled, nicely furnished and conveniently located duplexes. They are attached with one common wall so you may hear your neighbors from time to time. Full Kitchen and separate bedroom with a KING size comfy bed in one house (unit A) and a king in the other(unit B)! Enjoy the washer, dryer and Gas Grill at both units! Both units have recliner sofas. The street out front does have traffic.
Freeway close, 10 to 15 minutes to the zoo, San Diego State University (4 miles away), downtown San Diego, and 15 minutes to Coronado and beaches. We also allow pets and offer a pet sitting service if you need to drop your dog off at our home while you hit the town! These homes have a full kitchen which saves money from eating out all the time! There is a small enclosed backyard in each home for 'hangin out, bbq or a place for your pet to roam! Yes, we are pet friendly upon approval! The parking is right at your front door and the grocery store is a one minute drive or few minute walk! As the owners, we live about 2 minutes away and hope to make your stay AWESOME!!
A short drive (5 minutes?) is the heart of the Village of La Mesa, an historic location known as the 'Jewel of The Hills' There are excellent restaurants, coffee shops, antique and specialty shops. Evenings are often filled with the sound of music from the local venues. The Friday Farmers Market bustles with activity year round. There is sunshine, sunsets, hilly vistas and ocean breezes.
But you may be coming to San Diego for the famous attractions - the beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Coronado Island, San Diego Bay and events at Qualcomm Stadium. All those places are 10 plus or minus miles away from La Mesa and the freeways that take you there are just a half mile away from this duplex. The trolley is handy and provides easy access to downtown San Diego and everything between! Visiting San Diego State University? The trolley is the best way to get there because it drops you right on campus!

Perfect little place for our extended stay in San Diego, excellent commuter location. Little bit dated but clean, nice kitchen, nice comfortable bed in bedroom. The owners were great with excellent and quick communication and swiftly addressed an issue we found the first night. Had a great stay. Would definitely use again.

I rented this home for an extended stay while in San Diego as a travel nurse. This unit was fantastic and at such a great price! Fully furnished and stocked with everything you need from kitchen supplies to cleaning products. I stayed with my two dogs so having the yard was a huge bonus! Fully fenced with a grill to cook out in a nice quiet neighborhood. We spent a good amount of time relaxing and soaking in the sun.
Linda and Bill are fantastic hosts as well. The check in process was easy and they respond quickly to any questions you may have.

Had an excellent stay again, Linda and Bill are great hosts. any problems that came along they handled immediately. I can't say enough about the location, easy access to any place in San Diego. Lat year we stayed in the B unit and the A unit this year, while they are pretty similar, the B unit has sliding doors and a concrete patio whereas the A unit has a walk out door and no real formal patio. Still all said this is an awesome place to stay and you won't find better or more responsive hosts than Linda and Bill.

My wife and I stayed for 2 months (1 Feb thru 1 Apr) and had a blast, Linda and Bill are great hosts who do their best to assist you with anything that comes up. I can't emphasize enough on the location, you are within 15 - 20 minutes from almost everything and with the 94 a minute away access is easy. Home had total package of furnishings a person could walk in with their clothes and have all you need. Parking was always easy and accessible. I would recommend this for everyone and we will definitely be back. Easily a 5 star stay. We both feel like we hit a home run with this choice. Thank you Linda and Bill.
