About this house rental
Please keep in mind, during Summer months (Peak Season) I book back to back to avoid one night gaps.
My home is ideal for families of Six (4 adults Max plus two kids) or 4 adults (couples).
I love hosting doggos and the pet fee is per Dog, maximum 2.
My home is nestled in the quiet, serene forest across from one of the best surfing beaches in Canada, Cox Bay. It is an 8 minute walk to the beach and a quick bicycle ride to Chesterman Beach and a 7 minute drive into town.
West Coast Hideaway is a beautiful two story home that fits in with it's natural setting. Board and Batton cover the outside giving it a "cottage" look. With expansive windows on the main floor as well as skylights, it allows you the feeling of being outdoors while enjoying the comforts of indoors. With hardwood floors, and exposed beams throughout you will not be disappointed.
The Master bedroom is located on the top floor with a queen sized bed and a seating area. Your very own bathroom is also just down the hall for your convenience.
The second bedroom is located on the main floor, also with a King sized bed, and a full bathroom that looks out into the forest.
Two Trifold, memory foam, cot size mattresses are available for kids - they have their own bedding and are extremely comfy.
If it is raining outside, get cozy with the propane fireplace and throw blankets. Make yourself some tea and snacks in the beautiful large kitchen, and clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher. The kitchen is a foodie's dream. With high end appliances, lots of counter space, expansive cupboards and a concrete countertop with built in drain board next to our industrial sink, you will feel like a master chef.
A large hot tub is located on the deck to allow you to enjoy the fresh air and stars. Hooks for your towels are located on the house adjacent to the hot tub. A spa like outdoor shower is there for you to rinse prior to a hot tub or after a surf.
If you are wanting some quiet time, nap upstairs in the reading area and enjoy the scenery of old growth trees surrounding you.
I live in an adjacent suite attached to the home. Everything you see in these pictures is private and part of your home. I do share the driveway and will say hi when I see you and am happy to offer any advice and help if needed, or just give you your space.

My daughters and I had a great time at Katrina’s home.It’s a great location and easily walkable for my morning walks with the dog. I asked my daughters as we were driving home if they would stay there on our next trip to Tofino and we all agreed we would.

The cabin was lovely, super clean with tons of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. The host was very responsive and check-in instructions were clear and easy. Great location close to town and beaches. I would certainly recommend.

Katrina met us and walked us around the property, she explained how everything worked and where everything was.
We wanted to book crab di she even brought us an outdoor propane stove. Nothing was to much.
Great host and an amazing property
Hot tub and outside sitting space were spot on
