About this house rental
We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you!
We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite.
It sits on concrete sonotubes about 18 feet up off the ground. The goal was to create a treehouse affect that evokes a visceral response as you hover above the trees looking out at the stunning views.
It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.
Our guest house is accessed by a 30 foot long steel bridge.

Our guest house is very private, but is located near our house, so there are some rules that it is very important that are followed.
Guests may only have one vehicle. Guests must park their vehicle on the left side of main house (east side). Maximum of two people at guest house unless owner makes an exception.
If you desire incredible views, modern architecture, and a very quiet location, I think you will really enjoy the experience.
You are welcome to ask about staying for less than our 3 day minimum. Often there is less than three days between guests already booked, so we can send you a special booking request if you email asking for these shorter stays between existing bookings. We are also more receptive to shorter visits mid week, and last minute requests.

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this beautiful property. The view is simply stunning. From coffee time to wine time it was wonderful to sit and watch the view change. The furnishings and amenities are also perfect. It’s a quick drive into town, and only a few minutes more for Hood River. The property owners were great at communicating, and check-in and out were a breeze. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.
