Enjoy the property located on a 3/4 acre parcel surrounded by towering native cedar and douglas fir trees. Our 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath home was manufactured in 2001 was completely remodeled in 2014/2015 with custom finishes for the discerning traveler and the open design and high ceilings take advantage of the 1,300 square feet, providing a spacious home for you to relax in.
You'll enjoy spending time relaxing outside as the home has two large decks with morning sun in the front and afternoon sun in the back. The rear deck overlooks the back yard with landscape lighting at night, features a Patio table with 4 chairs, a Stainless Steel propane BBQ grill and leads to the private Hot Tub for even more relaxation. Inside there's a propane fireplace to keep you warm during the fall and winter evenings.

Relax and enjoy the many amenities the home affords its guests. While the Island begs you to get out and enjoy nature, sometimes it's nice just hang out and relax.
In the living room, you'll find a very comfortable leather sofa and loveseat which provides the relaxing atmosphere you're looking for after a day of exploring Orcas Island and its many gems.
The theme of 'Modern Rustic' is carried throughout the home in its furnishings and decor, and a neutral palette of earthy tones provide a tranquil environment for you to unwind.
For longer stays, the home also includes a full-sized washer and dryer (with complimentary detergent) should you wish to wash clothes/linens during your visit.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood and meat from local farmers and ranchers allow you to use the freshest of ingredients if you're preparing your own meals. We also have a small herb selection in a planter on the back deck for you to enjoy during growing seasons.

The roomy Master Suite offers a quality King sized bedroom set with a firm and comfortable Dynasty 12' CoolBreeze Gel memory foam mattress. Between the walk-in-closet, two nightstands and a full-sized dresser, you should have plenty of space for your belongings upon arrival.
The remodeled master bath features a deep corner soaking tub and a beautiful travertine shower and floors as well as a dual sink vanity.

The guest bedroom features a Dania bedroom set with a Serta Perfect Sleeper Davis Eurotop premium quality Queen-sized mattress set.
There's a full-sized armoire, as well as a single nightstand and lamp next to the bed. The guest bedroom has immediate access to the remodeled Guest Bathroom just up the hall.
The guest bath features a large remodeled shower with full-length rolling door, and modern porcelain tiles in the shower and floor. The guest bathroom is one of the features we receive a lot of positive comments on for the design.

In today's connected world, even if you're trying to get away from it all, it's nice to be able to connect if you need to. With the varied topography of Orcas Island, you'll find many parts of the island do not have any cell reception at all. Fortunately, we receive a good cell signal for the major wireless carriers in and around Orcas Island Getaway at Bracken Fern
Additionally, for those that want (or need) to stay connected, we offer complimentary high-speed internet through the Wi-Fi network with reliable service provided by RockIsland.
You'll also enjoy access to the third bedroom that was converted into an office if you need to get any work done while staying at the home with an Office Chair and Cabinet w/ Desk

Out on the back deck, you'll find a peaceful escape from everything. Hearing birds singing in the trees and frogs from a nearby pond are a great reprise from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life. The outdoor Hot Tub is located just around the corner from the deck and is sure to help you unwind.
Near dusk, you will often see deer making their way through the backside of the property as they head to other surrounding areas in search of tasty treats (yes, usually our flowering plants).

Lounge in the morning/early afternoon sun on the front deck with comfortable Adirondack chairs and on the afternoon/evening on the rear deck with patio set and stainless BBQ grill.

Take a short stroll on the trails through the property. One trail continues and leads you to Crescent Beach Drive, where just a few blocks away, you could continue on a short walk to Crescent Beach and the Crescent Beach Preserve where you'll find a 1.5 mile round trip flat trail to enjoy.

House was very nice, quiet neighborhood, and close to town. Probably one of the cleanest rentals I’ve been in. Had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. It felt very organized and obvious the owners put some effort into making it a nice stay. They even offered early check in even though I missed the message, the gesture was very nice. I also really appreciated it being a dog friendly home and the dog appreciated the large bed. Even offered water and food bowls which was a nice touch. The hot tub was nice after a day of hiking and was also clean. I was sad to not stay longer and would stay here again next time we’re on the island.

Such a comfy and clean house, had everything we needed! Other reviews are correct that the primary corner tub would take forever to fill, but that didn't bother us. We loved the king bed, I slept for more than 12 hours on it one night and felt great when I woke up. Great set up for dogs, with couch covers and dog towels provided. Extremely clean hot tub. Some of the cleanest sheets I've seen in any vacation rental (this is VERY important to me). Yes you are in a little neighborhood of manufactured homes and right behind the gas station, but it's Orcas so what this really means is that you're wonderfully close to town. Still surrounded by beautiful trees, and the other homes on the street are well-loved. If you're looking for a remote and isolated stay this isn't it, but if you want the perfect centrally-located comfy base for relaxing between adventures this is it! Layout was great for us (couple traveling with friend). New pots/pans are the only thing I'd change (flaking circulon didn't seem safe to use). Would absolutely stay here again.

Host was easy to communicate with, home was clean and well organized. There was a binder on site with lots of helpful information. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.

This home is conveniently located just outside of Eastsound. It is super comfortable and nicely appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were wonderful and it’s very dog friendly. Our dog even enjoyed the provided bed more than her own! Great hikes nearby also! Communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!
