Our Mt Hood Wine Country Lodge is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath luxury lodge with vaulted ceilings decorated in a "Wine Country" theme. The river sits extremely close to the home; it only takes a quick one minute walk. During the cooler months we have a beautiful mountain stream that runs directly behind the property. In the quietness of the the neighborhood you can hear the soothing sounds of the river.

In September 2023 all the bedrooms and bathrooms were newly painted. Our home boasts: Air Conditioning, a large back deck with a hot tub and a fire pit set up for entertaining. The back deck includes 4 wicker chairs, an outdoor loveseat and a long wooden bench that runs the length of the deck. We have, as well, a second deck located off the front of the property with a propane BBQ and another long built-in bench for sitting. The neighborhood pool is accessible during the warm summer months.

Our master bedroom features a king size, 4 post bed fit for royalty. As well as a 39" LED TV with cable. The master has a sliding glass door that exits to the back deck, out to the hot tub. Attached, it features a full bathroom with a shower. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen cherry wood sleigh bed. The 3rd bedroom, a smaller bunk room features a 3 person bunk bed (a twin on top & double/full bed for the bottom bunk). The great room features a stone backed wood stove, a 49'' LED TV, Wave cable, Wi-Fi (however sometimes spotty due to mountain availability) and a Blu-ray player. Plush furniture to include a sofa, love seat and recliner chair with a wall hanging, back lit, water feature. Our full kitchen is filled with all the amenities and appliances you would expect to have at home. (Honestly, our kitchen possess more kitchen tools than most and of better quality). The lodge has a washing machine and two clothes dryers for quicker loads of laundry.

Golfing is near by at The Resort at the Mountain, a premier 27 hole golf course that is just a 5 minute drive. This resort also boasts a lovely spa facility plus 2 eating establishments on site. On top of that we have over 10 wonderful restaurants within a 5 minute drive of the lodge featuring: Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Eclectic NW, BBQ, pizza, burgers, wraps, fresh salads and homemade soups, mac n cheese (the BEST we have ever had), steaks, friend chicken, etc.

The lodge is located in Zigzag Village, a small, mostly vacation home community that sits on the Sandy River nestled on the edge of National Forest Land. The home is in a very tranquil & woodsy area. Enjoy the community hiking trails, pool (during warm summer months), tennis court and 1/2 basketball court. The lodge is 10 miles from Government Camp on Mt Hood. The mountain includes: 5 ski areas, skiing, hiking, snow-tubing, snow shoeing, mountain biking, rafting, alpine slide, fishing, kayaking, bungee jumping, horses, trampoline, go-karts, brewpubs, live music, both elegant and casual dining.
