Stunning Home in the Sierras - 30 min to Dodge Ridge Skiing, Pool Table, Dog Friendly – 4 bedroom/3 full baths
Your Sierra vacation starts here, at a Mediterranean-style home with amazing mountain views, only a 2.5 hour drive from the Bay area, and 30 minutes from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. With four bedrooms and three full baths, this 2800 sq ft. vacation rental sleeps 10 people easily, and two others when using the futon and inflatable beds. Enjoy an active or relaxing vacation, with tons of outdoor activities nearby, plus pool table, movies, games and grill when you want to stay in. It’s the perfect place for family gatherings, ski weekends with friends, summer vacations in the mountains, special celebrations. We are sure you will love our house!
The Home: Gorgeous, impeccably maintained and professionally cleaned non-smoking home on private 5 acres. Watch the sun rise over the mountains from the expansive wrap-around deck. Great room with vaulted ceilings and pool table, formal dining room, heated floors and fireplace for winter, air-conditioned for summer. Fully equipped chef’s kitchen with large butchers block island, all cookware, and ovenware, diningware, blender, mixer, waffle maker, coffee maker, electric kettle. Coffee, tea, spices, oils, vinegar provided.
Bedrooms:
• 1 Cal King Bedroom - Giant master bedroom with ceiling fan and air-conditioning, reading chairs and walk-out balcony. Leather couch reading area. Custom master bathroom with shower and tub.
• 2 bedrooms with Queen beds – air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both rooms, access to the full bath in the hallway
• 1 bunk room with 4 extra-long twin beds (dorm size), futon seating, with it's own full bath, wall heater, and ceiling fan
• 2 self-inflating, bed height inflatable mattresses, one queen and one twin. Futon mattress in bunkroom. These allow flexibility in setting up sleeping arrangements. Ask for approval and there is a fee for over 10 guests.

The home was easy to check and out. They have a fenced in yard for your pets to use the rest room. And the AC worked amazingly! It was over 100 a few days and the house stayed nice and cool the whole time. Will definitely recommend and come again.

We had a great time the travel time was short and the location and property was the best. We loved the space in the home from the kitchen to the dining room we played games and cooked together! The rooms were prefect, the master bedroom was super huge Also having 3 bathrooms was perfect. The heated floors were wonderful with the rainy weather! We had a lovely time it was sad about the hot tub not being there but The owner made up for it! I would i love to rent this place in the summer time! Michelle’s easy open communication made it great for any questions i had, being this was the first time I’ve ever rented a home in SO HAPPY WITH this experience! THANK YOU SO MUCH MICHELLE!!!!!

This is a beautiful home with fantastic views morning and evening. It is perfect for a small to large family. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen since we were cooking our Thanksgiving dinner there. We also really enjoyed the pool table and the fact that it is located where everyone can be together, even if some are watching a movie or playing games. It is located within minutes of downtown Twain Harte which is very convenient for last minute shopping. The host is very accommodating and responsive to any questions. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and we cannot wait for our family to go back in the future.

The owner is very nice and she is easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to any questions we had. The house itself has an entry floor with a kids bunk room and bathroom and the garage, the main floor is upstairs. The stairs are a little steep if you have anyone older with mobility or balance concerns with you, but there are handrails which is nice. The main floor is perfect for spending time with your large family. Lovely living room with plenty of seating and great views, the pool table was a big hit as well. Very spacious kitchen where multiple people can help prepare food, and wonderful dining room with a table large enough for all. The main bedrooms and the hall bath are up a few more stairs from the living area, along with the washer and dryer. The master bedroom is huge, the other two queen bedrooms are pretty normal “kid” size bedrooms. The main heat in the house is in the floors, which was amazing in the snowy weather. The decks were mostly snowed in while we were there but we could see how nice those would be in a different time of year. The hot tub was clean and warm, a real treat to relax under the moonlight and take in the snow and the crisp air. Overall the cleanliness of the home was good, there were some things like the ceiling fans being pretty dusty (especially over the bed)or some of the dishes put away with food still stuck on them but these things were not a big deal. I felt comfortable walking around in my socks/bare feet here and letting my kids crawl on the floor, which is not the case everywhere we travel. There was a very nice pack n play that we were able to use here for our baby as well- it seriously looked brand new. The home was also very comfortable for our older dog. He had a bit of a hard time with the entryway stairs, but loved those heated floors. The owners also had some nice dog friendly touches such as a mat to put under his food and water to keep the floor clean and extra dog poop bags by the door if needed. We would definitely rent this home again based on our experiences. It was exactly what I hoped it would be when I booked. Thanks so much for a great time!
