Great location right on the beach and off the main highway between Coupville and Gig Harbor. Less than 10 minute drive to the historic Coupville water front. Cabin is old and rustic and good for a two person stay. Home can use some TLC due to the age, namely the second bathroom and new bedding/pillows. Basic amenities in the shower provided , but I would recommend you not cook. Bring your own ground coffee for the French press or filters for the hotel size 4 cup maker as there are none and only dishwashing powder for the machine. Water is hard and there is bad mineral scale over all sinks, showers and dishes so bring your own drinking water too. It was a comfortable stay overall, but bring extra fans if you stay in warm weather as there are very few windows to open.

We stayed here to coordinate a Wedding at Captain Whidbey Inn, and the location couldn’t have been closer which was great. Since I was coordinating wedding events all weekend, I didn't have much phone time and wasn’t able to reach out to the property owner/manager. Overall the house was clean & tidy, though there was some garbage on the patio. Additionally, we discovered that the toilet lever in the master bedroom was broken prior to us arriving. Other that those items, the stay was perfect. The house is definitely aging though and could definitely use some TLC.

We rented this cabin just to be away from home and on the beach day and night enjoying the warmth inside and the delightful setting outside. It's a cabin... luxury not needed...luxury not wanted. Loved it!

Beautiful location, the house looked clean upon arrival until we noticed mice (very cute, but not what we wanted to spend the weekend with), and their droppings. We trapped it the first night and let it go outside but he came back in the second night and hid under the washer. This was a bit disturbing for one of us that was up there as there had a bad experience with a rat borne disease in the past.
