About this apartment rental
Our Vacation home is located in Copper One Lodge, the closest building to the lifts in Center Village. This Oversize 2 bedroom penthouse condo comes with everything you could need or want to create a memorable ski vacation. Walk right out the door and get on the American Eagle and American Flyer chairlifts. This penthouse level condo is right in the center of Copper’s most prestigious Village with beautiful mountain views. During the Ski Season (Early November until Mid /late April) walk right out the building and jump on the American Eagle Gondola or the American Flyer Lifts. You can also walk right out our door and walk just a couple feet to restaurants and shops. Enjoy all that Colorado Summers (Early June - Mid September) have to offer such as biking, hiking, horseback riding, free concerts! Come in the shoulder seasons (Late April - Early June) to get away from the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet. (Many restaurants/shops in the ski village will be closed in the shoulder season, but most businesses in Frisco will be open).

Check-in is located right at Copper Mountain. You do NOT need to travel to Silverthorne or Frisco like many other properties.
**Copper has 2 our off seasons, Mud Season (late April until early June) and Fall (mid September until early November). Please check with the resort for actual opening and closing dates of activities. During these periods, many shops and restaurants will be closed in the ski village . However, most establishments downtown (Frisco) will be open.
***Pricing is based on minimum night stays being met, typically 4 nights during the summer, 5 nights in the winter, 6 nights on holidays and peak periods and 2 nights during the off-season.
Travel insurance is encouraged for our guests.
Ski lifts typically start turning in November and stop turning in April. Please check with the mountain operator for specific dates.

Beautiful condo in a great location. Very well-equipped kitchen, and a roomy main bedroom. The condo was clean and comfortable. Although we were there in the summer (August), the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem because the summer nights at that altitude are wonderfully cool. We really enjoyed all the offerings of the Center Village at this time of year.

Stay was great. Location was perfect. Property manager and stay at check were great and friendly. Tom was great with the chick one and follow ups. Only bad part of the trip was that it came up an end and we couldn't extend the stay. Will be back.

Pros- This property is in a great location. Really easy to get to lifts and walk to shops/restaurants. And underground parking is a huge plus. The unit was clean and the fireplace was a lifesaver to warm up. Cons: However, there are things that need improvement. First is heating. The second bedroom was at 62 degrees during our stay. While the management company quickly sent someone out to look at it, the determination was it was a result of way the thermostat is set in one part of the unit and shuts off in second bedroom based on temp in the other room; so there was no real option to fix it besides using a space heater. He gave us a space heater to use, but it didn’t help. With the cost per night, having reliable heat seems like a low bar. This is the room our kids were staying in so it was a problem. Granted - we were there during very cold temps so this made it even colder than normal, but still very disappointing. Also, the property could use some TLC. For example, the toaster is broken with the knob on the front missing, several blinds are broken, and there is a hole in fireplace glass. These are just small fixes that would just help the property look better and make it more useable. And, it would be great if you could add dressers even in a closet as there was no space to put clothes besides the nightstand. If we return to Copper, we’ll look for buildings in a similar location but would not return to this unit given the heat issues.
