About this house rental
Let us share our piece of paradise with your family and/or large group. Our home was built in 2016 and is perfect for your vacation!
It is located in the gated beachfront community of Cottages at Romar in Orange Beach and is situated on lot 16, a south-facing pool-side lot directly overlooking the beach. Southern Exposure features breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico, overlooks the beautiful resort-style zero-entry pool, and sleeps 24!
There are 7 professionally decorated bedrooms, all with their own private bathroom, smart TV with streaming capabilities, and built-in closet; including 3 master suites, a family suite with a king bed and 2 bunks, an additional den with a sleeper sofa and gulf-side balcony, and a third floor bunk room with 6 bunks, full bath, and a media room.
The ground floor features an outdoor shower, dining, additional seating, and parking for at least 6 vehicles. Once on first floor, you will find a large master suite with King bed and bathroom with custom shower, including a balcony overlooking the pool and the Gulf; a bedroom with 2 Queen beds and bathroom with custom shower; another bedroom with Queen bed, which shares a large Jack-n-Jill bathroom with the entertainment den that has a queen sleeper sofa and TV; another master suite with King bed and bathroom with custom shower; and a stacked washer and dryer. Upstairs on the second level, you will enjoy an open living/kitchen area with dining for 24 including seating on the deck; a covered porch overlooking the pool and unbelievable views of the Gulf of Mexico; a master suite with King bed and bathroom with custom shower; a family suite with a King bed, two bunks, and a bathroom; a laundry room including a second refrigerator; and a half bath. On the third level, the children will fall in love with the large bunk room, including 6 bunks, a full bathroom, and a media room. There is an indoor elevator that can be used upon request and payment of an elevator deposit.
Amenities include a resort-style pool with bath houses and restrooms; private beach access; a community fire pit; and small community-type family vacation living with gated entry.

Very nice property that accommodated all nineteen of us comfortably. Upon arrival temperature was 50 degrees and took quite some time to warm up. Some of the pots and pans had not been cleaned. A few areas in corners of bathrooms had cobwebs.setwer

The house was large enough for 20+ family Thanksgiving celebration. Decor was nice, could use new mattress for 2nd floor King room. Cooking utensils were adequate. Loved that food items like seasongs were available. Thanks to whoever left the Taco seasoning, I forgot mine. Hope next person enjoy items I left
Splurge and pay elevator fee, your knees will thank you. Cleaning crew could do better, baby pacifier and tube of gel was found between headboard and mattress. Overall, the house and location was perfect

Perfect week at the beach. House was perfect for our adult children (6) and our grandchildren (11) and Nanna and Poppa Joe. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Perfect location and the whole complex is very family friendly. Host did exceptional job making sure everything worked perfectly during our stay.

This was our third year to stay in this house. It has always been a favorite of our family because it is spacious and provides plenty of room. However, this year we were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the home. There was sand left on the floors in many of the bedrooms and the main porch needed a good power wash (lots of stains). Grill was left dirty. The main refrigerator had shelves missing and broken drawers, many of the dishes were chipped (cups & plates) and there were only a few cereal bowls left. Pots and pans definitely need an upgrade! There was a base for a blender but no top container - we did buy a blender that we left for others to use. Mattresses in several rooms could use an upgrade. Again, we hate to leave a negative review because this house has been the site of many great memories for our family BUT we felt that a refresh is definitely needed. The positives are that this is a nice home for large families in a wonderful neighborhood, great location and easy access to the beach, beautiful pool area and close to grocery shopping and nice restaurants. Hoping that improvements will be made so everyone will continue to enjoy this beach home.
