Makarska is small seaside place , the apartment is placed on the top floor of 4 storey building on the edge of town, on plus: big balcony with sitting area, good view for mountains and the sea, good parking space around the building, groceries nearby, keys handed by agent who explained all the amenities inside and outside , kitchen well equipped , welcome pack in the bathroom,
no elevator , communal are onside the building a bit dusty and tatty, wanted to amend booking dates but refused, no information about the stay until the day of arrival ( on request), shower door broken, wifi mediocre/ sometimes stuck/, towel set below standard(they were clean but size only medium to small , no good size to wrap up your body ), for security purposes agent took pictures of our passport including our child , but we never experienced that in any stay before, my partner was upset because of this , especially giving child passport to be pictured by a stranger.
