About this apartment rental
Portree is the main town on the Isle of Skye and the Apartment overlooks, though slightly set back from the main town square.
If you are looking to be in the centre of the Island then you have come to the right place. This is a great location to base yourself from.
The Apartment has just been upgraded with a new fully integrated kitchen and bathroom and redecorated throughout.
You will see from the pictures that we have put our hearts in it.
There is free wifi throughout, and a smart TV in the living room as well as a multi fuel stove for those cold winter nights.
The view is out over the town square and across to the local mountain Ben Tianaviag. 5 minutes from the harbour, a seconds from a range of bars and restaurants in Portree you cannot go wrong.
All you need to live home from home.
Utilities include washer dryer, dishwasher, American fridge freezer, oven and ceramic hob.

Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this property during our four night stay in Portree. Perfect location to explore many areas on the Isle Of Skye. Very convenient to restaurants, cafes and shops in the center of town. Nice walks around Portree as well. Clean, quiet and comfortable. There are stairs to the apartment but we knew this ahead of time. The only reason we are not rating five stars is because we had trouble checking in. We were not familiar with the heating system and couldn't figure out how to turn the heat and water heater on. No instructions to be found and it was very cold in the apartment. WiFi info was inaccurate. We had no issues contacting the property manager but it took about two hours for the heat to be resolved. WiFi was resolved promptly the next morning. It was stressful after travelling all day and could have been avoided by simply having instructions posted by the thermostat and accurate info for the WiFi. Regardless, the apartment was enjoyable and definitely met all of our needs. We loved MacKenzie's bakery. Co-op grocery short drive away.

Comfortable, well-equipped flat next to the main square having restaurants, pubs, a bakery and grocer and gift shopping. We had a car and it was nice to have dedicated parking. Easy check in/out. I would stay here again and/or recommend to others.

We managed to get a replacement apartment when the original booking was cancelled by the owner. But what a treat we had with the apartment we chose as replacement. We couldn't be happier. All that we wanted in the apartment exceeded our expectations. There was all the utensils we needed to cook a hearty meal although we only used the basic kettle, glasses and refrigerator etc. We will definitely choose this if we ever come to Portree again. The weather took a nasty turn due to a cold snap so our second day was spent in the apartment or meandering the village. But we made the best of it. Thank you John for making the stay so enjoyable.
