About this chalet rental
Ideal for 2 families (sleeps 10 in total). Chalet made of wood with charming decoration. 5 bedrooms with double living room: 124-sq.m living area + 20-sq.m basement. Located 4 min away from L'Enversin lifts and the Vaujany cable car (shuttles in the morning and in the afternoon): access to the glacier in 20 min, 3330 m height, and the Grandes Rousses ski area, featuring Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany, Oz en Oisans, Villard-Reculas, and Auris en Oisans.
Carefully decorated: this isn't your usual rental property décor. Instead, it's the ambience where all our passions are writ large: wooden cladding on the walls, wooden flooring upstairs, decorative furnishing, and high quality bedding and crockery. You will also find many appliances: everything, even a percolator. You won't just feel like you are in just any mountain rental; you will feel right at home!

Lovely chalet , plenty of space and enough beds for two families to share. Facilities are good. Definitely need a van and collect at supermarket 20 mins outside of resort. Only small Sherpa in Vaujany which is not walkable.

Lovely chalet in great location. It was very well equipped, clean and well maintained. Vaujany is a great resort, and there's plenty to do in the summer. Property manager Therese and owner Jean-Yves were very helpful. The only drawback was that the WiFi wasn't great, but that's not the fault of the owners.
We would definitely consider staying again

I have spent much of the season here in Jean-Yves' chalet in Pourchery, just outside Vaujany.
The chalet is very well situated, just 5 minutes drive from the main Vaujany ski lift, where there is ample parking even at half-term. It is two 10 minute telepherique rides up to 2800m with direct access to Alpe dHuez without no hassle and fantastic reds down (runs down back to Vaujany or to Oz are 1500m of vertical decent)
The chalet itself is clean, modern and well- appointed with everything you need for self-catering - large fridge, dishwasher, hob/ oven, plenty of plates/ cutlery etc etc. It can accommodate 10 at a push (one twin, 3 doubles, one double bunk) but I used it mainly for 4-8. It is warm and cosy and has a garage for storing ski stuff and a boot warmer/ dryer. I would be happy for it to be my home - it is that good. Bread and croissants can be ordered fresh daily from Solneige chalet/ B&B just opposite, run by Pieter and Therese, who are very helpful and are on hand to sort out any problems and provide advice about the area

Imaginez une petite soirée au coin du feu, avec vos amis, bien calé dans votre fauteuil club, avec un petit verre de Puligny-Montrachet juste frais, un petit saucisson de pays aux figues, les enfants en train de dîner sur la grande table, après une bonne journée de ski sur le vaste domaine de l'Alpe d'Huez... Voilà un moment bien ordinaire dans ce chalet extra-ordinaire. Ici tout est choisi avec goût et raffinement. Nos hôtes nous gâtent, nos yeux sont comblés, il ne manque rien pour notre confort. Habitué des grandes stations, je ne m'attendais pas à tomber sous le charme de cette jeune station, à 2 téléphériques des plus hauts sommets de l'Alpe-d'Huez. Sans compté que le domaine de Vaujany est l'un des plus agréable à skier avec ses sapins et se cascades de glace. Le charme, le calme et la beauté de la vallée, loin de l'agitation du centre des grandes stations, avec un accès au sommet des pistes très rapide, voilà le chalet idéal pour accueillir une grande famille ou un petit groupe d'amis. Il y avait bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas aimé autant l'après-ski que le ski.
