About this apartment rental
Only 50 minutes drive from Geneva this bright, well equiped self-catering apartment has great views from the west facing balcony. The apartment is on the floor of a building in front of the lifts of Les Carroz. The bedroom has bunk beds and a sofa bed in the living room. The ski lifts, ski schools and nursery slopes are close by making it ideal for families and skiers of all abilities. There is a large ski cave in the basement. Les Carroz is part of the extensive Grand Massif ski area of Flaine, Morillon, Sixt and Samoens and has an excellent snow record

The apartment is really well located right next to the main lift, although this means you're very far from town so you need a car as it's a long walk down and up a hill. There is no mention on the website that bed linen and towels are not provided. The website states parking but this is not true. The apartment has no parking place. You have to take your chance of finding one quite a way across the street which is almost impossible. There is no WiFi which in this day and age is unthinkable, although admittedly the website did only mention 'Internet', but this is misleading. Additionally, the owner did not bother to contact us to provide information about how to get the keys, or to advise that there is no bed linen or towels, until WE contacted him en route by car the day before our arrival date! This was clearly too late as we had already left with no linen or towels.

The apartment is well set out and equipped. It is unusual in having the 'bunks' in an area where they get light - a nice change and it is a good size. We had a superb week - the position cannot be bettered, literally across a narrow road from the main lift. All communications were answered very quickly and politely.
Would definitely stay again.

Loved proximity to Télécabine but pillows and duvet did not smell good and looked grubby
