About this villa rental
Villa Maeva is a luxurious 200 m² villa, rated 5 stars by the Tourist Office. It comfortably accommodates 8 people. Located very close to Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, it is just a 200-meter walk from shops, restaurants, and the beaches of San Peire. Its four bedrooms, all south-facing with beautiful sea views over the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, are equipped with en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. The master bedroom, on the ground floor, offers direct access to the terrace and its infinity pool. Its spacious bathroom, renovated in 2026, includes both a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen, also recently renovated, is very comfortable, well-equipped, and large. This magnificent villa offers all modern comforts, including air conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms, a washing machine and dishwasher, Wi-Fi, an automatic gate, an intercom, and parking. Sailing school, golf course, and thalassotherapy are nearby.

Let's start with the positive. The location of this house, the layout and the features are spectacular. The view is incomparable and the pool offered a wonderful and necessary opportunity to cool down (more on that in a second).
Our group of seven (four adults and three children) had more than enough space to spread out during the day and a great spot on the patio to come together for meals. The kitchen was exactly what we needed since we did most meals at the house.
The only two issues that we experienced were with heat (somewhat unavoidable in the summer) and the onsite property managers. The house description boasts air conditioning, but this is only really true of the main floor (if I'm being generous) or the living room (probably most accurate). At night, the bedrooms were stifling and sleep was hard to come by. In fact, we didn't use the bedroom on the top floor because it was basically an oven for most of the week. A few ceiling fans would have done wonders. The temperatures weren't surprising so it would also have been helpful to understand going into a July rental on the Med that we wouldn't actually have air conditioning.
As for the guys who handled check in, they were pleasant and on time, but unresponsive later when we attempted to ask questions about cooling the house and dealing with a trash/sanitary issue that was the previous tenants' fault. The on-site team only responded to texts and voicemails requesting help after I texted the owner (Fabien, who was always responsive and helpful).
We would come back if the entire house was air conditioned or ceiling fans were installed, otherwise we would look elsewhere.

We spent two lovely weeks in this charming villa, just above the beach of San Perie in Les Issambres. Everything was perfect - the house, the view, the location that permitted you to walk into town every morning to buy "les croissants". The owner was very helpful and kind, and we can truly recommend this villa.

Its a lovely setting, but the house need to be updated. Apart from the bath downstairs
the other bathrooms and kitchen need to be renewed. House need to maintained outside.
Not value for money....
Would love to come back when its all done.
