Charming and characterful house with breathtaking views of the Baie de Somme, located on the quay by the sea in Saint Valery sur Somme, close to traders and the market; ideal rental house to discover the most beautiful views of the Baie de Somme and the riches of the surroundings, with family or friends.
Rental for 6 or 8 people with a view over the Baie de Somme from the bow window of the living room and the dining room, the terrace and a bedroom.
Living and dining room, fully equipped kitchen, tv-dvd lounge, wifi, 4 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with wc, 1 shower room, 1 independent wc and laundry garage.
Comfortable cottage perfectly equipped to allow you to fully enjoy the place, the medieval city of St Valery / Somme, the Somme Bay and its nature: crossing the Bay with guide, sand yachting, Kayaking to meet seals, visit of the Marquenterre ornithological park.
1st entrance by the quay: Garage and private parking in front of the house.
2nd entrance via rue de la Ferté: small shopping street with its bakery and other shops and restaurants nearby, as well as the Sunday morning market close by.
On the ground floor: living and dining room for 8 people with breathtaking views of the Baie de Somme, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher and household goods) + double bedroom and bathroom / wc
On the first floor: tv / dvd and wi-fi lounge, terrace overlooking the Baie de Somme + double bedroom and shower room
Second floor: double bedroom and sink and twin bedroom + wc
House tastefully furnished in the colors of the Baie de Somme, gray / blue / to feel completely immersed in your vacation spot! Non smoking cottage.

You have the possibility of crossing it on foot with guide, on horseback, in kayak; you will observe the seals, the second largest colony of seals in France as well as the sheep of salt meadows, the huts of what makes the richness of this Bay unique in the world and classified in the 'most beautiful Bay in the World', the Bay de Somme also classified as 'Grand Site de France'.
Take advantage of the little steam train to move along the Bay and discover the charm of yesteryear.
The Marquenterre ornithological park, 5 km away, can be visited on foot or on horseback by Henson, a guided tour by renowned hornitologists. Important migrations of birds from all over the world pass during the migratory seasons in the area of Marquenterre.
Other sports such as sand yachting on the beach, golf courses and the many cycle paths.

Saint-Valery-sur-Somme was great to visit after Christmas: still lively in this quiet time of the year. The house is very well equipped and cosy. It was really warm and welcoming when we arrived on a cold, dark evening. The house is spacious and well organised. The location is perfect. We saw seals and cormorants from the windows.

The view from this house is stunning and the location is excellent also, right in the centre of town to walk to the cafes and shops. Plenty of space with all the bedrooms and different living areas and a very well equipped kitchen. The garage space was a bonus for storing bicycles. The owner and agent were both very helpful with instructions prior to arrival and queries during the stay. Would recommend.
