About this cottage rental
Located 1 hour from Paris (A1), 1:20 of the first castles of the Loire (A11), 30 minutes of Chartres, in a beautiful wooded area of 1200 m2 fenced wall, old renovated farmhouse 120m2 including the ground floor a kitchen (dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster), a large living room with character, beams, fireplace, WiFi connection, TV and DVD player, a bathroom with shower small sink and toilet. Upstairs 3 bedrooms with bright colors including 2 have 2 beds of 90 and the master bedroom 1 bed 160, a bathroom with bath, 2 sinks, washing machine and toilet. Outside: garage, porch with table tennis, garden furniture, barbecue, swing, bicycles, large flower garden and trees.

We had a wonderful holiday staying in this really lovely gite. Very rural and quiet location, but close enough to great places to visit by car like Chartres and Orlèans.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming on arrival, but also gave us complete privacy during our stay.
The gite itself ,while being completely authentic with wooden beams and creaky floorboards, also had great amenities like 2 bathrooms, and very good broadband/Wi-Fi.
I would definitely recommend this gite to anyone considering booking, and we hope to be lucky enough to return ourselves one day.

This was our first family trip to France and it did not disappoint. Nathalie and Eric were great hosts, very welcoming and there when we needed them.
Accommodation: this exceeded our expectations from the photos online. Everything we needed, but if being super picky a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms would be useful. The outside space was amazing with use of bikes included (Eric kindly raising the handlebars within an hour of us asking - nothing too much trouble :-)
We loved having table tennis in one the outbuildings and family match ups were a daily occurrence.
Area: a rural setting which is what were after. Peaceful and quiet. Nearest supermarket (Le,Clerc) approx 11km (Angerville) where you can get everything you’ll need.
This booking gave us a lovely insight into rural French life.

We have just returned from a holiday here and it was an absolutely beautiful property! Loads of space for he children to play, big comfortable rooms, a gorgeous garden with a table tennis table and a swing/seesaw! We loved it here, great for cycling locally as it is pretty flat ;-) Paris is an hours drive away and places like Chartres and Orléans are also close enough for a day trip!
We also took the bikes to a forested area about 40 minutes away and could clef the woods and had a picnic!
The host was wonderful, we arrived to a chocolate brownie and strawberries, and she was so very helpful and easy to contact if needed!
WiFi available here too!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others! Great price, great property! Thank you so much!

Quiet. Pretty. Rustic, yet well appointed. Lovely hosts. We were welcomed with cake and fresh garden picked strawberries. Close to Chartres and Etampes. Just what we needed.
