About this farm stay rental
Cottage on a farm. Quiet village in a wooded, hilly region, close to Auvergne volcanoes and amusement parks. Ideal for hiking, horse riding, mountain biking. Your children will appreciate the contact with farm animals (goats, small Jersey cows, rabbits). You will discover how cheese is made. You can watch the milking of goats every evening at 6 p.m. During your stay Yvette, Gilles and Stéphanie will share with you the passion for their profession, you will discover life on the farm. The milking of goats and the making of cheese. Beautiful walks in our green countryside await you. The canoeing down the sioule gorges will leave you with unforgettable memories. Maximum duration of a stay: one week. Deposit 200 € on arrival, returned at the end of the stay. Electricity: 56 kws free / week. Beyond 0.14 € per kw

Séjour très agréable malgré la pluie. La proximité des animaux a été particulièrement appréciée par les enfants. L'accueil des propriétaires est charmant et leurs fromages sont excellents. Gite conseillé.

Stéphane et Stéphanie, agriculteurs, ont fait découvrir aux enfants, l'élevage des chèvres et ont partagé l'amour de leur métier, de leur troupeau et du travail bien fait. Les enfants ont adoré mener les chèvres au pré, courir dans les chemins, écouter les explications concernant la traite, apprendre comment siffler avec une herbe, soigner des piqûres d'ortie avec le plantain.
Beaucoup de gentillesse, de patience et de valeurs qui ont rendu cette semaine inoubliable.

Beaucoup d'activités accessibles : accrobranche, kayak, VTT, pêche, vélorail... et bien d'autres.
Et aussi : accompagnement des chèvres vers les prés, et très bonne dégustation de fromages!

Un grand merci à la sympathique famille Citon qui nous a si bien accueillis. Nos enfants et nous-même avons été ravis de côtoyer au plus près les chèvres se rendant au pré ou à la traite. Le gîte était parfait et correspond exactement à sa description. De plus, une petite pelouse à l'arrière a permis quelques parties de foot à nos jeunes enfants. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ces vacances !
