About this chalet rental
Situation
This chalet, completely refurbished in 2016, is located in the hamlet of La Grange d'Hauteville at 1160 m above sea level near the slopes of Les Arcs station (Paradiski link, one of the largest ski areas in Europe with 430km of tracks).
It is located in a quiet area, outside the hamlet, not overlooked, 10 minutes by car from Bourg Saint Maurice and 10 minutes from Les Arcs.
Access to the slopes requires the use of a car as there is no shuttle service.
The access road is always clear, but chains or special equipment must be provided in the event of snowfall.
Two possibilities to get to the slopes:
1- Access by funicular which circulates between Bourg St Maurice and Les Arcs 1600 5 minutes by car from the Granges (intermediate stop).
2 - Direct access to the slopes at Arcs 1600 about 10 minutes by car
You can also take the opportunity to ski in the surrounding resorts located between 30 and 45 minutes by car: La Rosière, Sainte Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isère
Near the Vanoise National Park and the Beaufortain massif, ideal for hiking enthusiasts.
Many sports, leisure and white water activities (mountain biking, adventure trails, kayaking, rafting, swimming pools, cinema .........

Parking 50 meters from the chalet
The 140 m2 chalet is made up of two floors:
The upper floor consists of: a large living room, a bedroom for 2 people, a bathroom and a toilet
The lower floor, connected to the upper floor either by an internal staircase, or by independent access from the outside is composed of:
2 bedrooms for 2 people, one bedroom for 4 people with bunk beds.
Each bedroom has a private bathroom and large closets.
Underfloor heating with thermostats in each room.
Cleaning, sheets and towels are optional.

Excellent communication with owners on booking. Then pre arrival theu sent very detailed and precise information and directions which was much appreciated as it was getting dark when we arrived. A very well laid out and spacious house. Living area and kitchen superb and very well equipped kitchen. We had a toddler and Giles and Christiane provided a travel cot and put a stair gate out for use too. They met us on arrival to welcome us and show us everything. They were available by text or ohone if we needed during our stay. The house is a 10 min drive up to Arc 1600 or a 5 min drive to the funicular stop at la Grange.

We had a fantastic week staying in Giles and Christiane’s chalet just below Les Arcs. The chalet is very well equipped for 8 people with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a very nice communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer, plus heated boot rack was an absolute bonus enabling us to have warm and dry boots each day. Communication with Giles and Christiane was very easy and clear and it was nice to meet them on arrival.

Perfect beautiful modern clean chalet with everything you need. Sizeable 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and utility room with boot dryer was a nice touch. We had a fantastic week at Giles and Christiane’s chalet and they were very helpful and responsive to any query. Only 5 minutes drive to Les Granges funicular mid station (free parking). You might need snow chains if late heavy snow but road usually clear and salted . Totally delivered on expectations and some!!

Lovely property, stunning views, new and clean ideal for two families to stay in. Not far from ski resorts. Difficult to find though!
