Large central room with dining room table, seats 10 people comfortably. Hardwood floors. Upright grand piano. Fireplace in living room. Perfect for entertaining. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Master bedroom suite upstairs opens onto a balcony, has wide-screen TV, and small office with a view. Master bedroom has a queen bed. One downstairs bedroom has beautiful garden view with queen bed. Other downstairs bedroom has a double bed. Off-street parking for 4 vehicles. Pool (unheated), very large private backyard. Beautifully landscaped. Two Weber bar-b-ques (gas and charcoal), electric smoker. Patio heater (propane) and portable firepit (wood.)

Our hosts were wonderful and our experience was flawless.This charming home is nestled in an ideal part of Venice. It is close to many restaurants, freeway access, the beach and is in a highly walkable neighborhood (that felt safe) with a diverse collection of homes. Our events were in Playa Vista and Marina del Rey which are a hop, skip and jump from the house (by car).Everything that we needed was available in the home. The energy of the space is inviting, warm and peaceful. The house felt like a hug.I would definitely stay again when visiting west LA. I am a native, now living in another part of the state so I know the zone and this is truly a gem. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice.

We adored this home - warm, comfortable, inviting, w a real cook's kitchen, a pool, a piano, guitar and ukelele for my musician daughter and boyfriend, and the most amazing reading and cd collection. Great location away from the crowds but close to everything. MOST importantly, though, we adored Bill and Judy, our hosts, who are warm, kind and generous. They even offered us a christmas tree stand and lights for our tree! Truly humans of the highest order, as evidenced by Bill's response when we told him our daughters boyfriend tested positive for covid just one day into his stay w us. Bill was calm, reassuring and understanding - allowing our kids to stay on ( we skedaddled ! ) and helping us plan the cleaning and turnover at the end of the week in a way that was safe for all, and offering assistance to my adult kids if they needed it even after they moved on to finish their isolation at another airB&B.
This pandemic has been a nightmare for us all, but it has shown us just how wonderful some people can be. People like Bill and Judy show us the best of who we are, and knowing them gives me faith that if we just pull together, we can get through this. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over so we can return to this wonderful home again with our family.
