Arc 1800, beautiful apartment for 5 people, chalet style, superb south west view, departure from the slopes

The apartment had every thing you need for your holiday, great location , great host who always got back to you within the hour. Cant wait to stay again next year.

Mum, dad and two boys (12 and 15) spent Christmas week in this flat. It had everything we needed for a great week skiing. It is part of an elderly apartment block, walking distance, even in ski boots, from the ski slopes and local shops -- a comprehensive small supermarket, as well as a bakers and some specialist shops too. The flat is small, but the photos do give you a sense of what is there. It was really clean and ready for us when we arrived. It's tricky for four people to sit down together to relax -- but as we tended only to be in in the evening and there was usually one of us in the shower or kitchen it didn't matter. The bunk beds were apparently comfortable, as was the sofa bed. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and the flat was warm and we were able to get ski stuff dry overnight. We travel light so it didn't matter that there was not a lot of storage (some of the cupboards in the pictures are locked for the owner's belongings) -- but if you have a lot of cases and clothes I suppose this might be a problem. The kitchen had everything needed to make simple meals and breakfasts: there is a dishwasher and fridge (and lots of other gadgets which we did not investigate). There were also quite a lot of places to eat in the 1850 complex -- again we didn't investigate those. Unlike english self catering, you need to take your own sheets and towels, but there is a place that will rent them to you. You also need to clean the flat thoroughly afterwards, but it is small and all the stuff you need is there, so it wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to do. Thierry was really great to deal with too, and all in all if you want a base in 1850, then this will do very well.

The appartment exceeded our expectations, a real home from home treat, beautifully furnished with just about everything you could think of . Thierry was a great host and everything went really smoothly, just a minutes walk from the slope and in the heart of les arcs 1800, we had a great stay.

Nous avons reçu un maximun d'infos de la part du propriétaire. tout était complet. l'appartement se trouve au pied des piste, proche des commerces. il est idéalement situé car lorsque l'on rentre de sa journée de ski on pouvait s'installer sur la terrasse pour profiter du soleil(2 transats). le divan lit est très confortable et de bonne qualité. La cuisine est complète et très fonctionnelle. il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. nous avons été ravis de cete location et n'hésiterons pas à y retourner et à le recommander.
