Attic studio with beautiful frame located on the 4th floor in a beautiful 1900 building. (the studio is attached to the owners' apartment) .Located in a residential area with lots of shops and very well served by public transport. Next to it is the Bois de Vincennes, the Castle and the Zoological Park. The Saint Mande metro station (line n ° 1) is 60 m away.

We greatly enjoyed our visit staying in the studio operated by Irena and her husband! She was very accommodating and kind - on hearing how much my wife loves crepes, Irena brought over several of her own with some homemade cherry jam. The property was clean and cozy, with a small but efficient kitchenette. And being just outside of La Périphérique ring road the price was right! It is very conveniently located near both the Metro Line 1, buses on Rue du Paris, and two nearby Vélib bikeshare stations. We loved the amenities that Saint-Mandé offered: many boulangeries, several smaller grocery stores and various other stores, a laundromat, restaurants for every taste and budget, a fresh food street market on Sunday and other markets most other days, etc. A few things potential guests should consider before booking: 1) there's no elevator, and it's 5 flights up, enough said; 2) as some reviews have mentioned, the bathtub is small and so it was tricky washing up with the hand shower; and 3) given the heat in Paris this summer, the lack of air conditioning was challenging, although the large skylight opened to let in night air and there was a fan so we coped.Saint-Mandé is a quieter enclave, compared with the hustle-bustle of downtown Paris, so it was a nice place to recharge our batteries after a busy day of sightseeing. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey, inexpensive pied-a-terre from which to explore Paris.

it is a place with perfect room for two people, clean and with excellent location, the area is very safe, wednesdays there is a beautiful street market just to a some steps from the place, Irena ( the host) very good person.

The studio is well located , you are minutes away from a lot of attractions by metro. Neighborhood is very nice. The owner made sure I had everything I needed. I truly enjoyed my stay.
