About this apartment rental
The 30 m2 studio on the raised ground floor is located in the center of Annecy, at the entrance to the old town, Faubourg Sainte Claire (street famous for its restaurants and entertainment). The train station is 700 m, the lake 900 m, the central shopping street Rue Royale 500 m, the supermarket 250 m, the bakery 150 m and the parking spaces are right next to the building and those which are free at 300 m.
The studio, very quiet, includes basic supplies (sheets, towels), fiber optic internet, a washer-dryer and basic appliances (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, hob and oven, fridge / freezer). Bathroom with bathtub. 140x190 bed.
Arrivals are from 2 p.m. and departures before noon.
For an arrival after 9pm, supplement of 10 €.
Our friends the animals are accepted with a fixed supplement of 20 €.
The studio is accepted for smokers, however please remember to ventilate the studio and / or smoke outside.
We kindly ask you to communicate your arrival time at least 48 hours before arrival day to organize the delivery of the keys.

The location of the property is fantastic, it is only 100m from the entrance of the old town. Free parking is available 300m away but is highly sought after and difficult to get, paid parking outside the property is easy but is 6€ per day. ( traffic wardens were around regularly) The supermarket is within walking distance.
So the location is spot-on, however, the cleanliness of the property is poor, when we sat on the bed, other people's hair blew out from underneath and we found several long hairs in the apartment ( my husband and I have short hair), there is also mould in the bathroom and the apartment had cobwebs too. The bed is very low but comfortable, however, the seating arrangements needs improving, the apartment is for two people but there is only one armchair and the dining room chairs are hard and uncomfortable.
The kitchen needs checking after guests, we found dirty plates (dried on food) in the cupboard, chipped plates and bowls and the only two wine glasses were broken and had been put away like that. The oven did also not look like it had been cleaned properly.
A tired apartment that needs an update, such a shame because the location was fantastic.

Position vs old town 9.5/10, where 10/10 is in the old town. Very close (100m walk) and easy to get back from old town.Location of accommodation - 6.5/10. Unfortunately being on the ground floor and on a busy route does not make it peaceful at night or during the day.Great communication with owner. Very helpful - 9/10.Various other ups and lows, already mentioned in previous reviews.
