The apartment is quiet, spacious and clean. It's in a safe location very close to several transit stops and a short 15 minute walk to the old port. There is also a dishwasher and a small washing machine. It is a charming property; I had a delightful stay.

Paule est une propriétaire très attentionnée. L'appartement est très bien situé (quartier vivant à proximité de tout) et conforme à l'annonce. Seul petit bémol: les toilettes et la salle de bain ne sont pas adaptées à de très jeunes enfants mais Paule nous a indiqué que des travaux étaient prévus.

This nice little suite two flights up from Rue des Lices was great for a romantic getaway. We stayed only two nights in Marseille but the location of this little corner of paradise would have lasted far longer without going stale. Its just a few minutes walk down the hill past Le Four des Navettes (dont forget to stop !) to the bay, the bus, the bistros ...It would have been nice to have a fan in the apartment to keep the air moving ; it was nice to have the windows open at night, but the nights we were there we heard rather energetic music from down the street at late hours. Bring earplugs and youll be fine.This was a great jumping-off point for our short excursion to Marseille and Im sure it would again serve us well the next time we stay, hopefully for a longer duration ! The manager is very accommodating and easy to work with, and gave us many good pointers on places to see and things to do.
