Many attractions of the Eifel are within easy reach. The visit of Vulkanmaare a must, there are very good hiking and swimming opportunities. The Maare-Moselle bicycle route is right outside the front door, you cycle along the old railway line to the Mosel. The Cosmos-bike trail is nearby. Even in winter, skiing and sledding on the ski mountain mice, directly in front of the house. The Skilanglaufzentrum Ernst Berg is also accessible in a few minutes. One particular destination, the legendary Nurburgring. The World Cultural Heritage Middle Mosel can be reached in a few minutes. In down-Mehren find several playgrounds, doctor, bakery, hairdresser, Sparkasse and a grocery store. The Volcano Information Platform, a 24m raised platform with a panoramic view up to 70km. Coalesce to Koblenz, the city in the Rhine and Mosel at the German Corner is 60 km away. 35 minutes up to Germany's oldest city of Trier. Kleine, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer und großzügigem Wohn/Essbereich, indem auch eine Schlafcouch bereit stand. Wir haben unsere Zeit über den Jahreswechsel sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die Umgebung in der Vulkaneifel ist wunderschön und lädt zu tollen Ausflügen ein und auch von der Ferienwohnung aus haben wir zwei Option für schöne Spaziergänge in der Nähe entdeckt. Die unmittelbare Umgebung (also die Straße und Siedlung) hatte für uns keinen besonderen Reiz, es ist eine ganz gewöhnliche Neubausiedlung. Aber war auch ok. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und unkompliziert. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder.

gemütliche FeWo mit allem was man so braucht - es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden die Wohnung weiterempfehlen :-)
Toll war die Nutzung der Fahrräder, nur zum Grillen haben wir es leider nicht mehr geschafft, wir haben aber eine Menge gesehen (es gibt auch viele Ausflugs-Tipps in der Wohnung), empfehlenswert ist der Maare-Mosel-Radweg, den man auch mit Kindern gut bewältigen kann, da es fast nur bergab geht (für den Rückweg sollte man jedoch im Internet den Bus mit Fahrradanhänger reservieren)

Het betreft een de bovenverdieping van het huis. Het is een ruime woonkamer met keuken met daarnaast een ruime slaapkamer. De bedden liggen goed.
De badkamer heeft een douche en was erg schoon.
Het meubilair is niet van de laatste jaren, maar is wel comfortabel en doet wat het moet doen. Ook de transistorradio die erg nostalgisch aan doet, deed het perfect!
In de tuin staat een schwenkgrill waar vrij gebruik van mag worden gemaakt.
Een heerlijk appartement, dat rustig is gelegen, om in te relaxen en perfect als uitvalsbasis voor wandeltochten of bezoekjes aan het circuit van de Nurburgring.
Familie Dax woont naast het appartement en is erg vriendelijk. Wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Fenomenal casa de vacaciones en Mehren, cerca de la ciudad de Daun, y cerca de los lagos volcánicos de la región de Eifel, a alguno de estos lagos volcánicos se puede acceder por rutas a pie, también por rutas en bicicleta. Los propietarios son muy amables. La casa está muy bien, tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda, muy limpia y muy bien cuidada, también tiene un jardín anexo. Está situada en la región de Eifel, en el centro de Renania-Palatinado, por su especial ubicación dispone de muchas posibilidades para realizar excursiones en coche: a los castillos del valle del Rin y del valle del Mosela, a la cercana ciudad de Trier, a la preciosa Koblenza, también posibilidad de visitar Luxemburgo, incluso de bajar a la zona del Sarre en Alemania. Nosotros fuimos con nuestros dos hijos adolescentes y lo pasamos muy bien. Hay posibilidad de dar bonitos paseos en los alrededores de la casa. También muchas posibilidades para realizar rutas en bicicleta por caminos muy bellos y pintorescos. Muchas gracias Gisela por la información y por tu amabilidad. Si volvemos por esta zona, repetiríamos alojamiento en esta casa y la recomendamos sin dudarlo. Muy buena relación calidad precio y no hay problemas para entenderse con Gisela. Danke. It is located in the Eifel region, in the center of the Rhineland-Palatinate. So there are possibilities for excursions to the Rhine Valley and the Moselle Valley, and Luxembourg.
