We loved staying at Jan's house in Giens - we enjoyed the private garden in particular, and the location close to the sea. The different beaches in short range to choose from were great, as were the flamingos and the little village of Giens. Good place to start hiking along the "sentier littoral".
The house was charming with only a few minor flaws. It has a great layout and is equipped with everything one needs. The large kitchen was a pleasure to use.The ants (only on the outside and wall of the house) were a little annoying, as was the dish-washer, but we were glad, anyway, that there was a dish-washer we could use in a vacation home. The washing mashine is also very practical, especially when traveling with kids. The private parking space is vital for this area, and easily accessible. The garden is even more charming in reality than on the photos.
We did not meet our host, but he was always available via message or phone when we contacted him. He always answered immediately and was very friendly.
We felt very comfortable there and hope to return for another holiday!

We stayed at this small house for four wonderfull weeks with our 10 year old boy and had a terriffic time. The house is conveniently and practically equipped with four beds and a double sleeping couch in the living room. We could easily have fitted 3 more. Outside there is a private seating area which we used for all our meals.
The location is excellent for windsurfing. We could store sails etc in the garden and carry them 150m accross the road to the sea. We also appreciated the fantastic hiking/running trails on the south side of the island almost daily. At summer time there is a small shop on the camping close by which sells fresh bread etc.
The landlady is very friendly and will help you with just about anything. The internet connection is high speed and reliable so working online from here is not a problem.
Higly recommended.

Appartement de grande qualité au calme, clair et neuf, à la décoration contemporaine. Le centre du village est à 1 km à pieds, la baignade peut se faire en bas du chemin d'accès de la maison.
