Beautiful apartment in central Rome, district Prati, within walking distance of many of the main sites of Rome: The Vatican and St. Peters, The Pantheon, The Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Castel St. Angelo, Piazza del Popolo. Prati is a district with vibrant night-life, many restaurants, cafes, bars, cinemas. There is shopping in the famous district around the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, Via del Corso and also in Via Cola di Rienzo. There are parks at Castel St. Angelo and Villa Borgese (also home of the famous museum).

The rooms were large and nicely arranged in an antique setting that was quite lovely. The area was convenient to all but not in the busy section of the city which was wonderful for me as a getaway from the Rome tourist crowd. Many local stores and shopping very close to the locationI didn't have any internet service ..for part of my stay and this was eventually result

The property is in a great location near buses and within walking distance to the Metro. It is large with many interesting art works throughout. The furnishings (chairs, couches, beds) were worn and not very comfortable. The place was clean but the kitchen could use a good deep clean. After just 2 weeks, the shower became plugged. The owner (who does not live here) asked us to get some drain cleaner. We found someone who spoke Italian to help us buy the right drain cleaner and fixed the problem ourselves. But the major problem was the NOISE. The property was on the 3rd floor but below were 3 caffès with sidewalk seating. The caffès open for dinner 6-7 pm each day and serve until 11 or 12 midnight. The noise is heard clearly in the property. Also, there are recycling bins on the street and these are emptied most nights (2-3 am) and can be heard clearly. So, the place was adequate but Rome was wonderful. Ciao.
