There are multiple places of rest and contemplation in the property and the activity of some leaves others calm:
- the terraces around the house allow you to sit with the view of your choice, in the sun or in the shade, alone or in large numbers
- the swimming pool is just separated from the house by the threshing floor and its large oak ... the calm of the nearby house is preserved
- from the threshing floor all the views are available from the same chair

Aire de battage feels like an old family vacation house. It has a wonderful view of the St Tropez bay and the swimming pool is much larger than expected with a poolhouse with toilet. Wifi is super quick and we could even hook up our car for slow charging. Don’t expect St Tropez luxury but rather Cote d’Azur 40 years ago with a few modern additions. Patrick was very helpful over the mail and everything was well prepared. Don’t come in your supercar. The path is only accessible for cars with decent ground clearance.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette maison ancienne très bien équipée au calme sur les hauteurs de la garde freinet. La vue est somptueuse la piscine extra le propriétaire est au petit soin et toujours disponible.

Visiting France with 8 friends and found this great find close to one of my favorite villages..La Garde Freinet. The views were amazing and the house was rustic enough to give you the real provincial feel but with just the right amenities. We spent the first half of our trip in Paris and this was a great way to end our trip with the amazing views, privacy, pool, and comfortable home. Highly recommend this home and its great location to so many beautiful parts of France!
