About this house rental
Ideally located close to the beach, the port and the city center, on the Landing beaches, spacious charming house, late 19th century, completely renovated, with enclosed garden to the south, perfect for holidays with family or friends (place parking). Holidays without a car possible because all the shops and leisure activities are within walking distance (sea, heated seawater swimming pool, tennis, horse riding center, sailing school, cinema, restaurants ...)

Perfect for our group of friends visiting D Day beaches. A bedroom each and room to socialise and discuss our day.

We stayed as a group of 6 brothers aged 55 - 73 on a self drive D Day landings tour. It was a great location from which to explore both the US and British/Canadian sectors. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby and a very handy small supermarket only 4 minutes walk away.
Thank you to Martine and Baudouin who were great hosts, great communication and a seamless check in and check out process. We hope to return to the house soon.

The house is conveniently located, near shops and the beach and had supplies of everything to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. Rooms were beautifully appointed and large. We made use of the lovely enclosed garden and the large dining room for large gatherings (13) of local and travelling relatives. Parking our large van was easy in front of the house. The owners made themselves available by phone, text and email. Great experience! Highly recommend.

The property is exactly as we imagined a typical French house to be and had all the facilities required for an enjoyable stay.
Would have been helpful if one of our party spoke French so we could communicate with the Housekeeper without having to use her son as an interpretor - our bad for being lazy Englishmen.
The owners even made allowance for some minor repair work they are needing to undertake and this was much appreciated.
The property is well located to make access to the shopping area and beach area a short walk.
If you have a large family and wish to stay in Courseulles-sur-Mer then we would definitely recommend this accommodation.
