About this house rental
The property is an old square farm, including the barn was converted into lodging. It can accommodate 5-6 people.
On the ground floor is a large living room with a kitchen and a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.
Upstairs, the loft has a TV room and a double bed. Another bedroom can accommodate 3 people. Possibility of a folding bed supplémantaire.
1200m² garden with slide, swing, trampoline, tree house (shared with the owners).
Animals not allowed. NO Smoking Allowed.
The cottage is located in the town of Herzele, in Sint-Antelinks in province of East Flanders, on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes, 40 km from Brussels, 35 from Ghent, 10 de Grammont, in the heart of a region offering multiple possibilities of hiking and cycling (cycling routes nearby). Other nearby cities: Zottegem, Ninove, Aalst. A few minutes walk from the village center (with small shops) and the small nature park Duivenbos.

My family enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Clean, organized and spacious. The owners were terrific!! They showed us the gardens, the sheep, and shared fresh picked cherries.
Most importantly, when my young son was not feeling well, the owner took his temperature and provided fever medication. Above and beyond expectations.
The location was nice, easy to travel by car to Herzele. We also drove to Bruges and Ghent, both wonderful ways to spend a day.
I would definitely recommend the cottage for exploring the region.
