About this chalet rental
Stay quiet family with friends, lovers. At the door of the Aravis, near the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Grand-Bornand 15 minutes from Lake Annecy discover LES CHALETS D'EMILE. The chalets Le Lachat, Le Colomban, Les Bédières are renovated in a mountain spirit, quiet, on a vast wooded grounds. The situation of the chalet Le Lachat is ideal for the discovery of the region, the proximity of the various resorts allows you to admire wonderful landscapes both winter and summer. You can practice all sports (snowshoeing, mountain walks) tennis, via ferrata, horseback riding, adventure park, swimming pool in Thônes, golf in Talloires (15 km) water sports on Lake Annecy.
Lachat (45 m²) is totally renovated. Sleeps 2 to 4 people.
Kitchen open to living room with all the necessary equipment (South-West orientation).(dishwasher, microwave, oven, classic coffee maker, and Nespresso,)

Two bedrooms (Orientation East): 1 with two beds of 90 cm
1 with a 160 cm bed
The beds are made upon arrival.
Bath towels provided.
A bathroom with a shower, sink with basin, a toilet.
A heated laundry room (washing machine) local ski.

Deposit: 500 € requested on arrival

We stayed for two weeks in September in Le Lachet. It’s a compact, well equipped two bed chalet, located about 1km out of the small town of Thônes between Annecy and La Clusaz. The chalet had everything we needed and was very clean. There’s a dishwasher in the kitchen area and a small washing machine in a separate utility room (accessed from the outside). There is parking just at the rear of the chalet, and plenty of seating and a table on a decking area for outdoor living if the weather permits. There’s plenty of places to see in the area such as the Lake and the old town in Annecy. There’s another lake slightly further away at Aix-le-bains with a tree lined lakeside promenade and free parking. If you are prepared to travel a bit further, you can take a cable car up the mountain from Chamonix to view the high peaks of the Mont Blanc massive .. tickets are expensive but we figured it was a once in a lifetime thing (pick a clear day or you might be disappointed). Locally there are nice mountain drives and lakeside or river walks. Two great coffee shops we can recommend.. Mountain in Thônes and Lo Garâjo near Manigod. A couple of tips for British visitors.. Take your own towels, they’re not automatically included. I took a Google chrome cast and bought a double plug socket so I could watch English streaming channels, otherwise it’s just French channels on the tv which isn’t much fun. The host was very pleasant, we managed the handover fine despite the language barrier.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. The chalet was really cozy with everything we needed for our holiday. Walking distance to Thones and in a good central position to explore the Alps. A friendly welcome by the hosts. Highly recommended!
