About this villa rental
On the outskirts of the city of Chania, this spacious 126m2 villa with 2 bedrooms and swimming pool, ideal for up to 4 people, is set in a private property with orange groves. Located on the road that connects Chania with the Sougia coast to the south and the Omalos mountains and the Samaria gorge, it is ideally located for visiting the city center and all the sights of the region, from the beautiful beaches to the picturesque Cretan countryside. Only 11 km and less than 15 minutes by car from the town centre, 10 minutes by car from the nearest sandy beaches on the north coast and 5 minutes by car from the leisure water park. In the village of Agia, in the Episkopi area, the fully equipped villa offers convenient, comfortable and private accommodation. Grossery and cafe just across the street. Agia is a rural area where the landscape is characterized by the cultivation of citrus fruits and olive trees. The landmark of the region is the protected habitat of Lake Agia, which is an ideal recreation area for hiking. The villa consists of two double bedrooms, large dining and living areas, a large covered outdoor veranda, beautifully landscaped flower gardens, a private swimming pool of 35 m². surrounded by a large terrace with deckchairs and parasols, private indoor parking. The master bedroom has a queen size double bed and the second has a double bed.Both bedrooms have air conditioning, plenty of storage and balconies overlooking the orange grove. In the open dining room there is a sofa (1.00m x 2.00m) which can be used as a bed. Through the fully equipped kitchen is provided access to a covered veranda with table and chairs. From there, an outside staircase leads to the swimming pool. A charcoal barbecue is provided. The villa is fully cleaned and beds made before guests arrive. All towels (double set for each) and linens are included and will be replenished weekly. The popular and fairly busy coastline of Platanias and Agia Marina is easily accessible from the villa, just a ten minute drive away. There you can enjoy the organized sandy beach and the Cretan sun. In general, it is a suitable base for people wishing to explore the delights of western Crete. An ideal place to have exclusive use, privacy and at the same time easy access to all activities. For your best service, a rental car is recommended.

Stella was the most fantastic and hospitable host! So helpful and responsive for suggestions and tips for exploring Crete. The villa itself was beautiful and very clean. There were 3 of us and it was very spacious. The shop over the road is very helpful and they are so helpful. Short drive in to Chania and its old town which is gorgeous. 100% recommend

We had a very splendid stay at Villa Rosemagnolia. Stella could not have been more generous with offerings of local produce, helpful and knowledgeable tips about places to visit in the area, and her time. The house and pool are both spacious and immaculate and the gardens and orange groves with cicadas are beautiful. Air conditioning in both bedrooms meant we all slept very well. Plenty of towels and bed linen were available if needed. Stella met us as we arrived (even though our plane was delayed and car rental issues held us up by about 90 minutes) and was warm and welcoming. She was helpfully attentive at the beginning and end of our stay and sent links /suggestions for places to visit once or twice during our 10 days. The place is an easy drive to Chania with its Old Town and beautiful Venetian and Turkish influences and spectacular sunsets. There are many places to eat and drink and lovely little shops. The newly located Museum of Archaeology is wonderful and well worth a visit. Beautiful beaches and mountain drives and gorges too. We had a lovely time! Thank you Stella!

We are so thankful for our time here. Stella provided a wonderful vacation home and a welcoming, safe and beautiful atmosphere. The home had more than everything needed and beyond. The pool, the house, the market, all was great. Stella was beyond a wonderful host - from a warm welcome (with home cooked food!) to continued support as needed, we couldn’t have asked for more. This was a perfect stay for our family (incl. a child).

Our family of 4 had an amazing time staying at the villa for over a week! Our host Stella was wonderful. After a long trip from the States, she welcomed us at the house and had a wonderful meal cooked for us, plus sides of Greek salad, fruits and beverages. The refrigeratorand pantry were stocked with essentials which made it really easy to get our vacation started without stress. She was so responsive before and during our stay.
Then for the villa, it was beautiful. Stunning flowers surround the house and it is set in a lovely citrus orchard. The pool was pristine and so refreshing during the hot Greek days. It was cleaned early every morning so spotless every day for our swims. The house was immaculate with plenty of fresh towels and linens. The air conditioners worked great and kept the bedrooms very cool and comfortable for sleeping.
We were a short drive to Old Town Chania and very close to many beautiful beaches and restaurants.
I recommend Villa RoseMagnolia to everyone and hope to stay there again in future years during our holidays to Crete.
