About this house rental
Very beautiful holiday house in a typical Apulian style, entirely reformed in 2016 and located amid thousand-years old olive trees. The domain has 3, 5 hectares of ancient olive trees, almond trees, and fruit trees (lemon trees, orange trees, fig trees, grenadiers, walnut trees, prickly pears, quince trees, and persimmon trees). There are 4 double bedrooms with private shower rooms and one part of the house is reserved for children (a big play room, a bedroom with 3 beds, an alcove with beds, and a shower room with a washing machine). There is an indoor kitchen (refrigerator, oven, extractor hood, and dishwasher) and an outdoor kitchen (sink, gas cooker, and barbecue). There are also two fireplaces. A big magnificent swimming pool of 14 x 6 m is located just over 50 m from the house, amid the olive trees (please note, that the swimming pool is not secured). The house gives both family and friends a very happy holiday.

The house was as described. We loved the pool and daily dinners outside. We ranged from 18 months to 75 and if worked for everyone. 4 of the bedrooms had there own bathroom and there were 5 total. The showers were wondeful and designed to fit the house. The decorations fit the house and were simple. The beds were especially comfortable. The house is part of an olive orchard and walking the property was really interesting. We were near Ostuni and lots of beaches. It is a great house and exceeded our expectations.

Communication was excellent and Maria made us the most amazing meal. We were concerned about the heat in the middle of summer but it turned to not be a problem at all. There are fans in all the rooms and the temperature drops in the evening and it is very comfortable.

Great villa. Quiet rural location. Nicely redeveloped. Good size and clean pool with sunbeds surrounded by olive groves. Great outside dining area and roof terrace for watching the sunset. Lovely friendly housekeeper (it helps if you speak French or Italian). She also cooks amazing meals. Bedrooms can be uncomfortably hot especially the top floor one as no air con (but does have fans). Fridge/freezer provided little too small when house has 12 people staying.

this Villa did work for our family very well and we had a lovely holiday.
A few minor points however - we did find it too hot in the bedrooms at night and wished we had Air cond. The layout was good although the property manager failed to show us the attached bedroom which we only found on the 2nd day - by chance as it is hard to spot.
Struggled with a big group and no ice maker/freezer in the kitchen only in the store room by the pool where additional fridge is which was for wine etc. No space in the small kitchen fridge. A house of this size needs proper freezer/ice making/fridge in the kitchen.
Whilst lots of seating - all chairs were quite uncomfortable and there were no seat pads. Bins too small for such a big group and not emptied daily as we were told so it was tricky trying to recycle properly.
Maria was amazing and we really enjoyed her cooking.
Great location for Ostuni and the airport. Pool was good - but I am not sure it got the attention from the pool cleaners it needed. All shower heads were blocked and need attention. We all hated the white shingle laid all around the house which covers you in white dust and walks everywhere in the house. Shame there was no proper terrace to sit on for drinks in the evening - however none of the above stopped us having the most wonderful week in this very relaxed house - just a few small tweaks and we would definately love to come back.
