Less than 5 minutes by car, the Montalbert resort (one of the 9 villages of La Plagne), family and dynamic, offers all mountain activities (snow park, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ...) for relaxation (massage , restaurants, bars ...) and shops (restaurants, shops, equipment rental companies, supermarket ...).

The Chalet is just below a lift into Montalbert. It is wonderfully appointed; the ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite and a bunk room with a huge luxury shower room.
The first floor has an open plan kitchen, lounge with a large table, balcony and the best alpine views. We loved sharing meals and chores here.
Just below the chalet is a 200m walk to the Notre Dame De Neige, a wonderful small chapel that has been lovingly restored.
I do hope that we will be able to go back, this chalet had a wonderful feel and was in a perfect slightly out of town position.

Comfortable chalet, relatively spacious by French standards.
Only point for improvement, no boot dryer ..., but thanks to the underfloor heating in the locker, the skiboots dried quite well.
Overall, this chalet is highly recommended.

This is the most wonderful chalet, perfectly located, beautiful to look at and to stay in, with the most stunning views of the French Alps. We have never stayed anywhere with such a breathtaking vista! From the top floor you could see Mont Blanc standing out in its snow covered glory!
We never got used to gazing on the glory of what the Creator has made, whether sitting on the terrace or in the lounge through the two huge picture windows .
Despite the altitude, the weather during our stay was beautifully hot and we spent a lot of time outside (the English can create a cricket pitch anywhere!) There were lovely walks in every direction and plenty to do if you wanted to go further afield.
The chalet was well equipped and a joy to stay in.
We would unreservedly recommend Les Melezes!
