About this farm stay rental
Privileged place to rest and recharge the batteries with family or friends. Property in a listed green valley, quiet environment.
40 min away from Paris (A13), 5 min away from Vernon-Giverny.
Large house of 200 sq.m in an ancient farm building with 3000 sq.m of entirely enclosed land surrounded by meadows. Creek outside the garden. No immediate neighbour. You will find large hike paths starting from the property.
It is in perfect condition and has excellent amenities.
Large living rooms, fully equipped kitchen with piano gas stove, dining area with fireplace, detached living room with Hi-Fi and DVD/video player.
4 bedrooms upstairs (1 with hand basin), 1 bathroom and 1 shower room.
2 WC.
Possibility of a bedroom on the ground floor.
Large garden planted with trees with garden furniture and barbecue.
Cleaning services are possible.
Fuel oil central heating,
board games, slide in the garden,
entirely enclosed property safe for children.
The creek is outside the garden.
Discover Giverny, a charming blooming village and visit the wonderful garden of the Claude Monet house, the famous Impressionist painter, as well as his house. Then make a detour by the painting museum (former American museum).
You can also do a walk along the Seine to Andelys to visit the Gaillard castle, from where you will enjoy a fantastic view, then walk in the small Andelys.
There is another circuit towards La Roche Guyon, an enchanting village with its castle along the Seine.
Visit the banks of the river Eure (Pacy, Acquigny),
Vernon and its cathedral, its Dukes Bizy castle
and of course visit Paris, 45 min away by car or by train.

We visited in June 2024 and stayed in this house in Giverney. It was massive for what we needed but the price was great and we wanted a home outside the hustle and bustle of Paris but close enough to take day trips.
Most important: the beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Bring linens and towels or expect to pay extra for them.
The house was very clean. The master bath off the kitchen has been upgraded and is very modern. The rest of the house is clean and nice but keep in mind that this is an old farmhouse. Like, 100 years old. It's clearly been well taken care of and upgraded over the years, new furniture and whatnot. They still keep sheep in the small pasture next door. There's an old barn which we didn't have time to explore, nor did we do any hiking nearby like we intended (too many things going on!) It's a super nice, a very cool house!
One day while we were there we took the train into Paris. The train station is about 10 minutes away. The train was very crowded both directions so get a 1st class ticket if you want to sit for the hour ride.
Antoinette, the landlady, grew up in the house and is VERY nice. We hit it off with her and invited her to dinner one night on our trip. We met up closer to where she lives in Rouen. She spent an hour showing us the town and churches (which are magnificent!) and we had a wonderful dinner at a brasserie there. She speaks good English and was a delight to get to know her.
We highly recommend this home!

Near Giverny and very peaceful. We did a 4 day meditation retreat then visited nearby sights. Only ten minutes from town. Antoinette was friendly and accommodating in allowing us to enjoy their huge farmhouse. This was clearly a family farm, and the sheep greet you coming home. You can feel the history of the area.

We spent with our three kids lovely ten days at this family property. It's situated between Paris and Rouen. You have plenty of place, nature, deers, sheep and rabbits. Great place to relax and there are many trips possible (Paris, Rouen, Giverny, etc.). The owner Antoinette is lovely and always within reach (she does not live at the property). The house is clean and the sleeping rooms are all renovated (the living room is a bit stuffy, but it doesn't bother us much). The kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

superbe pour les amoureux de la Normandie , pour de magnifiques balades en toutes saisons , à pied, à bicyclette ... proche de Paris, de Giverny ... la maison du corps de ferme est très confortable, et décorée avec gout et le jardin aussi est des plus agréables ambiance à la fois rustique et pleine du charme bucolique dont on peut rêver on a envie d' y retourner ...
