Swiss Delight is a beautiful Big Bear mountain home, equipped and stocked with your vacation experience in mind, and is perfect retreat location for all occasions and seasons. Located in a well treed and peaceful neighborhood, walking distance to beautiful hiking trails and half way between the two ski resorts and the downtown Village, you are under ten minutes by car to all that Big Bear offers.
Entering this great home you will find the spacious living room, offering an open floor-plan into the kitchen and dining areas and boasting custom furnishings, a flat screen TV with streaming services and WIFI, toasty wood burning fireplace, and wonderful mountain charm. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.) The chef of your group will fall in love with the spacious and well equipped kitchen, complete with cookware and essentials to whip up your home-cooked meals including a dishwasher, while there is seating for eight provided around the custom log dining table and even a laundry room with washer and dryer are on hand for those wet ski/snow clothes.
This multi-level home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, with enough sleeping for up to 11 people, and with it's sprawling layout affords the perfect amount of privacy and space for larger groups or families to still experience the mountains together. This middle level of the home boasts two of the bedrooms, while there is a lower level bedroom available and the massive upstairs "bunk room" has multiple beds along with a shared hallway bathroom and a cozy game room area with foosball table. Venturing outside your group will enjoy the spacious fenced back yard, complete with a nice deck and brand new hot tub where you can soak up your fun day of adventures. Positives:
-Great location in quiet neighborhood and short 10 minute walk to village.
-Large living room and kitchen table were great for social gathering and meal time.
-Easy access and check in / out communication with property manger.
-Info book of misc. instructions was helpful.
-Good separation of rooms between adults and kids.
-Hot tub on patio provided easy access and viewing from living room
Negatives:
-Thermostat control was difficult.
-Better description of the number of stairs in and out for toddlers and older persons.
-No propane in the grill.
-No access to the garage in fall/winter for vehicle coverage.
-Used/dirty hand towels in master bathroom.
-Limited cookware.

The house was very cozy and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed. The location of the house is very accessible and close to the village, grocery, and restaurants. Overall, our stay was worth it and we had a good time!
